Calling all Silly Yaks! This is a tremendous product. The biggest problem I have is keeping them (cheese balls) around. I typically make a hearty soup or stew, and mix up a batch of cheese balls to go with. *POOF* ...before it's even time to serve, several always seem to grow legs and walk away.If you use this as a pizza crust, my trick: place dough into non-stick skillet (I place a little olive oil in the pan first) and form up sides (I use a curved-side Calphalon saute' pan. ) in the oven and bake for about ten minutes. Take out of oven, place cheese, meats, veggies and tomato or sauce on top. Bake again until cheese is bubbly and golden or until cooked to your taste. I do not remove pie from pan, but use sheers to cut a wedge out and serve with a pie spatula.Be creative! chebe makes incredible bread sticks, flatbread, pie crust, hot dog wraps, dot dot dot. I love it's chewy texture.(...as an aside: if you have Celiac and incorporate a bit of dairy into your diet, for some reason, white cheese seems to digest better???? Maybe it's the color in yellow cheese, but if I use white Cheddar I don't have issues later.)

I use this Chebe bread mix to make amazing gluten free cinnamon rolls, always requested by my non celiac grandchildren, and have been ordering it from Amazon for years. I get eight boxes, which are packaged in a cardboard box. In the past Amazon packaged this box in another box, and it arrived pantry ready. Now, to save packaging Amazon sends it in just the manufacturers box, and at least one of the 8 units opens slightly, making a horrible mess. I'm all for saving packaging, but in this case it doesn't work.

Seriously, these are awesome! So hard to find a quality GF bread. I'm excited now to try their other products! I've made these 3 times - and they are super easy and have turned out great every time! The first 2 times I made them into balls as recommended. They were great. Tonight rather than making 16 balls, I made 4 larger buns so we could have them with burgers. And yes, they worked really (!) well! Even before we were GF, neither of us liked a lot of traditional buns because they are so much volume of bread. I shaped these like hamburger patties and they came out perfect. When sliced in half, they were substantial enough to adequately hold a burger together and had a nice outer crunch and inner softness. I will definitely make these again and again! Just ordered the pizza dough and regular bread dough too. Oh, and I gave my mom a box - she took them on a camping road trip and cooked them in her dutch oven. She said they turned out great!

I was excited to try this bread mix after recently discovering I had a gluten intolerance. I am a huge bread lover and have been struggling with having to avoid some of my most favorite foods. I made this mix yesterday and was very pleased with the results. The rolls were very flavorful and had a wonderful texture. I wouldn't say that they were exactly like my favorite cheesy rolls from a popular restuarant, but they were a great substitue. Other bread products I have tried have been extremely dry and tough to chew. These rolls were not at all like that. I also like that this mix calls for you to add your own shredded cheese. I am also a cheese lover and had a great cheddar I shredded up and added to the mix. I am glad this mix came in an 8 pack as I am looking forward to trying to make breadsticks with this mix next time!

You can make pao de queijo from scratch, but this mix really does taste like the ones you get at the Brazilian BBQ place. Super easy to make and they come together so quickly that it is the easiest part of the day when making a Brazilian BBQ for friends. Naturally gluten free so a nice choice for those on a restricted diet.

We made these in place of Thanksgiving dinner rolls. So delicious. My mother, who "doesn't like" gluten free food, thought they were delicious. The children gobbled them up. The adults gobbled them up. This will be a staple from now on. Next time I am going to try mixing in crumbled bacon. I would take a picture, but 32 rolls didn't make it long enough to snap one.

Oh my! I love this stuff! I am not a good cook and I don't like to experiment with making Gluten Free foods because I waste a lot of time/money on things I end up hating anyways. This is a GOOD buy. When my sister was diagnosed with Celiac, she tried this mix and had me try one of the cheesey bread balls. I was immediately hooked. It was soft, you can refigerate and reheat the leftovers and there are lots of different things you can use this for. Goes great with soups, a variety of suppers and as a treat. At the moment Amazon is fixing the listing or something so they are not selling them at a good price, but when they have them back up, I will definately be ordering more! The pizza crust mix is great too. I was a big fan of self-rising pizzas and that is what the mix is like! soft wonderful pizza crust. I can't reccomend these enough to people! Even ones who don't HAVE to eat GF like me.Edited to add: I was getting these at about 22.50 for 8 boxes. The prize has jumped a lot of Amazon so I buy it from Chebe's website in bulk now.
