High quality chalk. Sticks a bit better than Master chalk.
I used Master chalk for years. One day a friend gave me a piece of Blue Diamond chalk to try. I found that it was a little less dry than Master chalk and it seemed to stick to the tip a little bit better. I have tried Predator chalk and a few others but I prefer the Blue Diamond.I use Kamui tips and if I keep it groomed properly, any chalk will stick to it fine. If I get a little lazy, it is harder to get chalk to stick to it. I carry my own chalker in my pocket and I only go through about one piece a year. I spend less than $5 a year on Blue Diamond chalk so the price isn't really a concern for me.Master would work, Predator would work but it doesn't fit in my pocket. There are a few other choices that I like but Blue Diamond is actually my first choice. (of anything I have tried at least)

Excellent chalk!
I've been a long time Masters chalk user and in the last year or so I've decided to start trying the different brands. So far, Blue Diamond is the best for the money that I've found. Very smooth chalk and seems to adhere on the tip nicely. I do love the Kamui chalk too and actually think the Kamui performs better....HOWEVER be prepared to have blue all over the place if you use Kamui. So I'll stick with Blue Diamond....

Best Chalk Ive Ever Used!
I tried Blue Diamond Chalk a couple years ago.It sticks to the tip much better, I misscue a lot less if ever.I do of course keep my tip in great shape before each time I play. But ive tried the other popular chalks out there and this is just the best ive ever used.Lots of people say they think its stupid to pay this much for chalk when you can get a case of most chalk for the price of two cubes of BD.Its worth it to me in the long run to have good cue control and proper amounts of chalk on my tip every shot.I will probably never go back to those low cost chalks again.

Great for those that want a finer grain chalk.
I have been using this chalk for some time and I prefer it to masters that you find almost everywhere. the chalk is a lot finer and stays on the tip so you don't need to chalk every shot. Because it is a finer grain it can get all over your hands if you chalk frequently. It really will put some serious spin on the ball though. It is a bit pricey but worth it IMHO.

Italy's Best maybe. But not the Worlds Best.
I did a complete performance video on you tube of 10 name brands including Blue Diamond chalk. Just type in Bill Skar+Blue Diamond chalk and you will see how well it performed and how well it placed with the other chalks. It's a good US chalk but not the best. And it is pricey.

Blue Diamond Chalk - Dan's Billiards
Very good chalk. I have never got into shooting with the more advanced chalks like Predator or Kamui; or spending a lot of money for chalk.I am one who chalks every stroke if not every other stroke. Blue Diamond is just consistent. I rarely miscue, or if I miscue it's because I was lazy & did not chalk up!I shoot with a Pechauer with the Pechauer gold medium tip.Buy this chalk here .... I promise you will not be disappointed.Last. Buy it from Dan's Billiards. Fast shipping & gets to me within a couple of days. Dan's Billiards is consistent.

Go to your local pool hall in Snag to chalks and leave a quarter on the table. That's your best bet.
I mean come on two pieces of chalk for that price I mean really if you go to any pool hall you can just literally take a chalk off the table I probably have like literally 6,000 chalks nobody seemed to notice they were missing. Don't buy this product unless you were like obsessed with people thinking that you are a total poser

The chalk I reach for first
As far are "good" chalk goes, I've used Masters, but it always seemed to me to be not much different than "basic bar chalk". I've used Balabushka pretty steadily (still do) because I like how fine it is and that I do not feel the need to chalk every shot. I would, in general, chalk at the beginning of each game and be fine (though circumstances will always, of course, dictate if additional chalking is needed throughout the game). Since using Blue Diamond chalk, it has become the chalk I reach for first. Not quite as "soft" as the Balabushka, it covers well and adheres well. I tend to chalk on average, more often than with the Balabushka, every few shots, but it is usually just to "touch up", and, not being as soft, it just feels neater. The only reason I do not rate it five star is because I've still not tried Predator or Kamui chalks and so have minimal comparative experience. Maybe if I decide to try those chalks, if I do not feel they would supplant my Blue Diamond, I'll come back and up my rating here.
