Works as advertised.
Anyone who operates a woodstove knows how important it is to be able to control the airflow, especially with the gasket seal of the door. This stuff works just fine. You can query your woodstove mfr if you're unsure what size gasket to buy (my Regency takes 9/16" gasket, or was it 3/4"?), and then attach it more or less permanently with this.

Still Deliberating
Today I applied this product in all of the crevices of my wood stove that leaked smoke. I applied it, waited 6 hours, then attempted to cure the product by starting a fire. The adhesive burned, smoked and flaked off with very little flame, which was disappointing. Upon reflection I think the fire was too hot. I’m going to clean this round off and try again tomorrow with the cement product instead. I wish the manufacturer provided more thorough instructions.
