My little fire table had this large, Frankenstein setup that was real overkill for the application. This little valve & thermocouple plus one adapter put me right back in business.

Worked perfect to replace the existing unit on a propane fire pit.Make sure to have the thermo coupler lead in the heat. It takes a while for it to unlock the silinoid.

After buying a separate thermocouple which did not fit, I bought this which included the safety valve….did not fit on the hose…ordered adapters which also did not fit. Wasted a lot of time…..I’m ordering the whole bundle where everything will fit into each other properly, e d though it’s a lot more money. I guess my fire pit was old ( bought it second hand) and I had a hard time matching up parts. Hopefully the bundle I ordered will work!

Exactly what we needed. Great product.

I have a very nice Firepit that’s less than 1 year old. It developed a thermocouple issue and would not stay lit unless it was in “pilot” mode. Purchased this unit and it came complete with nice attachment hardware. Once installed, it fired right up, and regulates the flow better than the original. I didn’t need all 20” of thermocouple, but I was able to store the excess by making a large half- loop.

The valve in and out are listed as 3/8" male flare thread in the specifications. This is incorrect. They are actually 1/2". I realized it too late after I had already installed it and now probably can't return it. Waste of money.
