I purchased this ice maker three months ago for my camper. It has been awesome to use and produces ice very quickly. I never noticed any bad smell aside from just the mild newness smell which quickly subsided. I use bottles spring water and have had great tasting ice with no calcium build up so far. It seems to be durable but time will tell as to how long it will last. It is a great size for one or two people however, I would get a larger one if I had need for 4 or more people. It doesn't take up too much space which is also a benefit in a camper where countertop space is limited, I would recommend.

I spend far too much driving to Sonic every week to get my large tea with crushed ice. I probably go far more often than what I do, but it's just it adds up after a while. That's really the only reason why I go. There is because I love their ice.So I decided it was years past due and got this ice maker. Now I can make my own ice and make my own tea. Therefore, saving quite a bit of money. I honestly predict that this machine will pay for itself in no time.It's easy to clean and get started. Plus the ice is perfect.

Item was great for 4 months. Then something internally started making a horrible sound like a bearing went or a stuck belt. i have now reached out to the company for the 2nd time have yet to hear back. Bought during Christmas paid over 200 total for a unit that has lasted less than 4 months. Unit worked very well until it didn't. Would love to leave a 5 star review for the product because the entire family did enjoy this ice machine but for this kind of money it should last longer than 4 months.Will update if company resolves.

We went from an expense GE Ice maker to this model. I have to say, I was impressed enough to buy 2 of them.Been using it for about a monthPROS:Small, soft, Chewable ice!Easy to use out of the box. No complicated setup.Small footprint & portable (if needed), includes an optional handleProduces ice VERY fast.CONS:No easy way to see water level. No view window or simple way to see the water level.No convenient place to hold the ice scoop. We keep ours on top, but would have been nice to have a little inset for itCan be a little noisy. Its not loud by any means, but it isn't silent (60-70db)The ice tends to pile up so the hopper doesn't get to be completely full before it shuts offAs yet unknown, is how easy it will be to clean the inner parts and hoses (if any). Our GE was so difficult, I had to carve out an hour each month just to service it.

Love my ice machine and use it everyday. My niece dnd Mom got one as well and we’re one big ice making family .. well priced comparitably but still spends . Easy to use and clean and makes the perfect size ice for drinking it just munching

Luv this!! Ice is a little weird of a texture when it 1st comes out. But I still love it!!!!
