A great circular saw for the money.
I really like this circular saw, charged the battery fully before use and then proceeded to cut rails for a new garden fence, there's plenty of power there and it made short work of the twelve cuts I had to make, the battery was still on three light so I presume it hasn't used much charge, my only slight disappointment was it didn't come with a case or tool bag but that was easily remedied with a smart tool bag ordered from INGCO (£17). The saw seems solidly built and provided it's used in a DIY capacity I think it'll give good service.

INGCO 18V Circular Saw – Absolute Weapon, Outclasses the Big Names
If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Absolute beast of a tool. The narrow kerf blade makes a real difference, but what really stands out is the motor — it’s torquey and doesn’t bog down, even when ripping through wet 2x6 C24 timber. This has instantly become my go-to over both my Milwaukee 165mm and Makita 165mm saws. Those now feel oversized and heavy in comparison.Build quality is excellent — comparable to the DeWalt 12V circular saw and the Milwaukee M12 Fuel, which does have a magnesium base plate. The INGCO uses an alloy plate, which could be improved, but for the price, it’s more than acceptable.I genuinely hope INGCO brings more tools to the UK. They’re producing some seriously capable kit. This saw runs on 30A discharge cells, so the 4Ah and 5Ah batteries are no problem at all. I haven’t tested it with a 2Ah battery yet, but performance-wise, a proper 2x18V system still outshines any 12V x5 setups like DeWalt’s — better efficiency, lower resistance, and less heat build-up.And this is the key: as soon as current goes up and voltage drops, you get heat — and that kills performance. Thermal efficiency is just plain better on 18V systems. That’s exactly why INGCO have gone for 16V on their smaller tools rather than 12V. It makes total sense: smaller conductors, less heat, and no real downsides. It’s smart design and engineering. The 50mm cut depth? The mutt’s nuts. Seriously — for a saw this compact, that’s an absolute game-changer. It handles deeper cuts without batting an eye.I still have my Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Metabo Germany cordless tools — but honestly, I wouldn’t miss any of them if I had to go full-on INGCO. If INGCO doesn’t make the tool I need, then I’ll go back to the other brands. Until then, they’re just collecting dust. This is where INGCO really shines — especially with their 18V impacts and drills. They’re the same size, or just 10% larger than Milwaukee M12 tools, but you get full 18V performance with better battery fitting and runtime.

Surprisingly good
Wasn’t expecting much from this circular saw, but was I surprised. Brought for occasional home workshop use, to save my work tools. Used it to cut some OBS 18mm boards, I can honestly say it never faulted the two batteries that came with it served me well all day. If you are a DIY enthusiast and can’t afford the “BIG” brands, I recommend giving it a go.

Ingco very very impressive
The media could not be loaded. I'm a Dewalt guy but Ingo is right up their. Now I only want ingco, very impressed. I want the circular sander next if and when it's available body only as you can share batteries. Superb quality and cuts very well.

Not powerful..., Battery faulty...
Looks and feels good but in reality there's not much power. OK for an odd job but cutting an 8mm sheet of wood it just jams constantly with lack of power. Should have got a well known one and spent a bit more. Will do for a back up but I'm going to have to buy a proper one. UPDATE, AFTER USING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY 4 TIMES ITS NOW FLAT AND STAYING FLAT. A NEW BATTERY IS ABOUT HALF WHAT THE SAW COSTS SO IM STUCK WITH NO SAW. DO NOT BUY THIS SAW.
