The first thing that worried me is the amount of feedback on light flickering. But then I also realized that there is a equal number of people who have used and loved it, so I trusted myself and placed the order.Order came in neatly packed. And I immediately setup the connections and switched it on. Bam, the light starts going on and off, continually. Dissapointed, I put my hand over the sensor and try and understand the issue, and the problem becomes very clear. If the bulb that this device is switching on is right above the device, the sensor goes crazy. It sees darkness, switches light on. But the light is so bright that the device now thinks it is daytime and switches it off immediately. This cycle continues for ever.All you need to do is to change the angle of the sensor slightly so that the bulb it switches on is not hitting the sensor directly. And it starts working beautifully.Its been a few weeks now and the product works flawless. Just trust yourself and get it, the reviews on flickering are because folks have no idea how to mount it properly.

Very useful as described. I installed it in our farm. Very easy to install. Till then I'm tension free for timely switching on/off all lights. Thanks to the seller and Amazon for availing such product.

I wanted this because even if I was out of station, my outdoor light will automatically turn on at night. It worked beautifully, only issue was the light blinked a few times at the time of Twilight, it is natural for the sensor to do that, I understand. But after 3 months, whole working, I heard a blast sound and it stopped working. It didn't get wet because it was installed at a safe place where the light would reach, but not the water or rain. So I guess it's cheap assembly. Now looking for other good brands. Not worth it!

It’s a good product in this range , I have ordered it second time, it’s not water proof. As we have to fix it outdoor , it would have water proof then it will be one more extra feature.

I have been using this item since 2015I did not have any issue as of now. I have seen some negative reviews about this product but in my opinion this could be due to manufacturing defect or wrong placement.

One thing which I was concerned about from the feedback others had left on Amazon.in was the possibility of flickering at the time of dusk or dawn. I must state clearly that in my case THERE WAS NO FLICKERING. The gap between the setting where the light switch turns on and the setting where the light switch turns off seems sufficiently far apart that there is no flickering. My guess is that for those who have experienced flickering, they might have put the light sensor too close to one of the artificial lights connected to the switch.If the light sensor is too close to one of the artificial lights activated by this switch, it would of course confuse the light sensor reading.Therefore I suggest that the light sensitive switch/sensor be installed in a manner that it is facing away from any of the artificial lights which it will control. This should avoid flickering.The question remains, how long will the device function properly? I hope it will last for years, but too early to tell :-)

The product was easy to install and worked efficiently.However, the working life of this product is too low.I used it for a LED Bulb that was switched on at night and the same was to be switched off in morning. Later in the Morning, the power button was manually switched off. Was working since December 2021. But just after a month of operation, the device stopped working automatically.Not worth the time and money.

I was in need of fixing a sensor to turn on and turn off the light that is outside our home when we go out of station. Presently I keep the light burning from the moment we leave until we return. This wanut product seemed to be a good idea when I saw it on lightning deal. I purchased and installed it. It works well. Now when we start our trip , I just turn on the switch and the sensor takes care of turning the light on from evening till morning. There was no major complication in fixing it as it has a simple design. I just placed this device inside a transparent plastic box before fixing it on the wall just to safeguard it from rain. Overall it is value for money, planning to purchase one more for product for the backyard light.
