It Works Perfectly On PowerPoint And Google Slides
The device comes in a nice round case with well-written instructions, a USB-C charging cable, and the device itself. It includes a USB-A receiver that you plug into your computer. Given that I have a MacBook Air, I had to use an adapter to plug in to the USB-C port. The device turns on and off with an on/off switch. It fits comfortably enough on my index finger. The laser works well. When I plugged it in, my Mac thought it was a keyboard and asked to set it up (asking to press the shift button the left of the keyboard). I quit that process since that would be impossible to do with a pointer. Fortunately, it worked perfectly well on both Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides out of the box. I definitely recommend it.

Simple, compact, basic... good for presentations
Improve the delivery of your presentations, appear professional, a basic, compact remote presenter. The Good...The remote presenter comes in a nice round carrying case that holds the presenter and charging cable. Has the basic function of advancing the slide forward or back, a laser and a button for hyperlink. The ring portion is of rubber, has a slot to hold the USB dongle. It is a snug fit when worn on the index finger. The charging slot is a type c which today seems to be the standard. The laser is a red beam and is bright enough to see from 15 feet which is more than enough distance. The forward and back button has a tactile bump that is useful to know which button is forward or back. The Bad...The remote is relatively thick for only the basic functions. Given the size to have a bluetooth capability would be a good option. This has to be worn on the index finger because on any other finger it would block the laser pointer. If the remote is only to forward or back than it is ok.The Ugly...The laser pointer pointer button is at the bottom which is not really an ergonomic design. The hyper link button and the laser button should be swapped with the laser pointer at the top of the remote. Not sure why or the need for button for a hyperlink. Given the price of this item for the basic features and design, there are other potential alternatives that offers more and a les expensive price tag.

Bright laser pointer, small, easy to use
If you, like me, want to have something you can use to play with a cat and hit computer hot keys at the same time (I have my reasons), this is too bright for that. The laser beam reflects off surfaces too much, and you are better off getting a laser pointer meant for cats and getting something else for the hotkeys like usb foot pedals or something. If you are normal and buying this to give presentations, it is perfect. It's bright, easy to hold and use, and small enough to easily add to your laptop bag. It charges with USB and has a little slot for its dongle so it doesn't get lost. Great little pointer.

Worked well, until…
… it was dropped on the floor from a seated position, and then it stopped working. After much tweaking around with it, I finally got the thing to start working again. Obviously not the most substantially-built device.

Tiny and easy very effective
Let's start by saying the photo in the ad has this on the left hand like a ring -- that's not how I use it. I put it on my right hand pointing finger with the unit in my palm. That way, my thumb trivially easily presses the buttons. It's very natural. The only quirk is that it's the down button that advances to the next slide using this with LibreOffice on my Linux systems; I expected the up and down button actions to be reversed. The laser pointer button is also in the opposite position from what I expected, but one gets used to these assignments very quickly. I love the way the USB dongle stores in the rubber ring when not in use. The red laser pointer spot is fairly large, yet very bright, and easily visible on slides shown with typical classroom video projectors. This comes with a lovely little round case, although it's just going to be thrown in my backpack uncased most of the time -- which is fine because it seems quite durable and has a power switch that should keep it off if the buttons are bumped. The unit has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges via USB C; a cable is provided, but not a USB power supply (which is not a problem). Having BlueTooth would be a nice dongle-free option, but pairing BlueTooth with a random presentation computer is less certain than sticking a USB dongle in.OK, this isn't perfect. However, I've been a professor for decades, so I've used many of these sorts of things. This is easily the most functional laser pointer/slide controller I've used... it deserves 5/5.

Horrible
This item does not work at all! Would not open a file, go to the next slide, absolutely nothing. Bought for my classroom thinking the design was great with the ‘ring’ style. So disappointed! Really wanted it to work. Unfortunately, I bought while out for chemo and when I went back to school and tried it it was too late to return.
