Hojicha Powder Organic Matcha Roasted Green Tea Powder Japanese Style (100g)

Love their matcha!!! It’s amazing!! The texture is perfect, it’s always fresh because it’s in a Uv blocking bag, it’s taste is smooth especially with milk, it’s a steady energy level all day without any indigestion like coffee causes, and it’s a great value for the quality you get!

The media could not be loaded. When I got into Matcha, I searched high and low to find a Premium harvest ceremonial grade Matcha that wasn’t insanely expensive like they usually are. This one is my go to ride or die Matcha. I love the value for the price, it’s the best I’ve seen, it has a great bright green color, easy to dissolve, and the taste is very smooth and not earthy at all. I keep it in the fridge and it stays nice and green for quite a while. This is my favorite Matcha powder!!

Ceremonial grade really is the way to go and this one tastes perfect with no need for sugar. I do prefer to add a little vanilla creamer for my personal tastes but it's tastes great even with just milk.

It has a nice taste, but I don't want lead from the soil in China.

I have bought this several times. This matcha is just that....matcha. It has no sugar or extra ingredients. This taste is different than your cheaper, sugar loaded matcha from your chain coffee shops. This is a high quality product, and a delicious alternative to morning coffee

I normally buy local organic ceremonial matcha but thought I’d order it on Amazon this time. I’m very disappointed in the flavor. It tastes much like culinary grade matcha with a bitter taste to it and not the mild smooth taste im used to. I usually always make it a habit to check to see where products come from but unfortunately I didn’t do that this time. Since there’s no refund option I had to throw this away and will purchase from my local store. I won’t buy again for sure and unless you like bitter matcha I would stay clear. The adage you get what you pay for is always true. Lessons learned (again).

First time buying houjicha powder to make houjicha latte at home after I've been spending too much buying from many tea shops. The smell of this houjicha powder is good, and it dissolves well with milk. Anyhow, after a sip, I can feel a strong powdery coating in my mouth in which I'm not a big fan of. Otherwise, the flavor is good except that powdery coating sensation. Might need to buy a more expensive one to compare since this one is pretty cheap.
