Samsung Galaxy TAB A 10.1 SM-T585 WI-FI LTE 32GB

T585 Model purchased - I was keen to review this product having read the reviews on Amazon myself and taking a punt at it when my apple iphone 6 battery kept playing up and I wasnt quite ready to invest in another new phone yet. We knew having another tablet in the house would be useful at times and when I sent off my iphone for a hopeful battery repair, I bought this tablet to hopefully be able to use as my phone for a few weeks - expecting the odd limitation.Well, I can confirm that in my scenario as an o2 customer in the UK this tablet works faultlessly as a phone! I have my whatsapp working fully, all persona and work emails coming through and it is exactly the same using this as a phone as it is with any mobile I have had (minus its size I suppose!!)...It has a good loudspeaker and I already had a plug in phone handset that I used for work which also plugs into the 3.5mm jack on this tablet and works perfectly for calls - even the button on this handset works for ending calls.The screen is great quality, had no issues with any websites, bluetooth connection to my earbuds has been great too so all in all I am absolutely delighted with this tablet, especially for under £200 what a steal!! My only negative (which has no bearing for me but it may for others) is the camera is quite poor. When you see pics taken with say a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9 phone, this is like dialling back 10 years of tech!!For those that dont want to read my waffle:PROS- CAN BE USED AS A PHONE WITH NO LIMITATIONS!!!- really good screen- Easy to use / personalise- as long as you have a sim in the tablet with data you will be able to use whatsapp fully as I doCONS:- my only negative (which has no bearing for me but it may for others) is the camera is quite poor. Was replacement for previous Galaxy tab that was just worn out after 4 years of extremely heavy use. New one was irritating at first but then I realized this was due to the latest version of Android, whose changes make sense but involve some relearning. Once you get used to it there's no problem. The tablet itself is super: excellent picture and tablet management. Impossible to fault it. It cost a fair bit more than my last Samsung tablet, but when you consider what it can do, I find it good value-for-money.

Nice easy to use, decent viewing not as vibrant as higher end models but still nice to view with. Does what it says in the descriptions, it performs really well. I like it. Did not want to pay the inflated high end prices they now seem to do and this model is as good as other models out there. Serves me well. Had difficulty with different infomation regarding my order contacted both the seller and amazon and it was dealt with in a timely manner. The seller was helpful and returned messages without a long wait. Satisfactory outcome.

I bought this for my wife who often watches her favourite programs on it. It has a good size screen. The speed is good and the picture is clear. Also, very easy to set up and link with your phone, email etc..

Bought this to replace my much more expensive Galaxy tab S2. Overall very pleased but there are a few considerations if you have used an apple I pad or the more expensive s2 or S3 Samsung tablets beforeIt is quiet a bit heavier and the screen is not as wide but probably a little longer.The battery life is very good and although the screen is of a lower resolution this is not significantThe performance is a little slower but again not enough to worry youIt runs the latest Android software so no problems there. The model I have as built in phone which is very handy in an emergency but you would look a bit of a plonker using this as your everyday phone!,,.Worth putting in a high capacity micro ad card to store all your music and films a big plus over apple products.To sum up very good and worth the money but you would be dissapoined if you require a really high aspect tablet.

First delivery first rate second packaging good well protected, now the down side the instructions were totally useless and the Samsung site not much better I could not get the thing to work it would load up my WiFi and then go to camera and stay like that so off to my son who confirmed my idea that it needed a nano card fitting to get it going once fitted it open up an Aldin clave of a unit graphics so clear moving between sites so easy and the picture on u tube just perfect for the price a unit well worth having just the instructions rubbish maybe the 8 year olds and the techis know to put a nano SIM in that need not be turned on but the rest of us who just want a good bit of kit would like just a little less ASUMING.Buy this unit by all means it is grate with a nano.

This was ordered 1st october 201 has always been slow to charge compared to my sister's identical tablet. It has now totally shut down. One I bought 3 years ago is still ok. Have tried to contact seller, but never re ceived an answer.

Good for first few months but then screen resolution starts to fade as days go by
