I was looking for socks that were not extremely tight, which causes severe pain in my left foot due to nerve damage. These seem to do the trick. They are thinner than your average sock, but seem to hug just enough to stay up. Four pair for $10 is also a very good price. We'll see if they stand the test of tie, but so far, I like them a lot.

Bought for my husband, he really likes them a lot, soft and very comfortable. I highly recommend them even if you are not diabetic, he isn't.

These are perfect

These are stretchy, easy to put on, and comfortable. I was expecting ankle socks, but these are labeled "quarter length," and they rise up the calf some. I would prefer them to be shorter.
