Best Celine album
Amazing album from start to finish. So Celine yet so modern. She brings the passion & blows you away with her incredible vocals. The title song, breakaway & unfinished songs are my favorites.

Celine is loving us all back to life with this refreshing, new album!
This album is so refreshing to hear! I love the new sound she's going for with this yet you still know it's Celine.....the incredible, amazing Celine!! As a life-long fan of Celine, (and I'm only 30 now) this album has been a long time coming but so worth the wait!!From the title track to "Somebody Loves Somebody", "Water and a Flame", "Didn't Know Love", and "Incredible" with NeYo, the album is chock-full of wonderful songs. Even the songs she performs in Vegas have been tweaked a bit to fit with the album; and I'm glad they're not exactly the same. If the song "Incredible" isn't picked up for the Olympics, much less released as a single, to quote NeYo in a recent interview, "Somebody's not doing their job". This album has so much potential and with it's fresh, modern sound it may even earn her some new fans from the younger generation. With so many young stars stripping down to almost nothing on national television or lip-synching their way through entire concerts it's great to see someone with her talent still able to conquer the way that she does. And without running around half-naked. This woman is an excellent role model in addition to her talent. On the vinyl version, the rap interlude on "Save Your Soul" is amazing. I'm just sad it wasn't included on any other edition, especially as a bonus. Both versions are great but the interlude just adds something to it. I could hear this song all over the radios and, yes, even the clubs. Overall, a truly special album with amazing material!!

Great pop album with occasional flawed vocals
Celine always puts on a good performance and this album is mostly no exception. However, her days in Vegas have taken a toll on her voice and nowhere is it more evident than on this album. Her once pristine and smooth vocals have given way to raspiness. As with age and having kids and overusing the voice, including her day-in and day-out vocals on the Vegas stage have left her unable to control certain aspects of her voice. More specifically, quieter lower tones and breathy vocals.I wanted to love this album because the songwriting is top notch. However, because of these vocal issues, I can't entirely love it. While some other reviewers have commented that she has performed these vocals intentionally, I disagree. This rasp in the voice only comes with overuse and is not a part of the voice you can control at will. While she may have let the vocal remain on the album, it isn't the most pleasing of tones which is why I've docked one star from this review.I know the rasp isn't something she can vocally control, although she could have reduced its presence by using her voice less in the last several years. She didn't have to sign up for the every day performances in Vegas, but which I'm sure make her a great deal of money. Of course, all of that money is at the expense of her instrument. I'm not saying that this album isn't worthy of a listen, but if you're not used to hearing a raspy tone from Celine, it's time you get used to it. I do not know if this is permanent in her voice, but it is probably here to stay, so I would expect to hear more of this on her next release. I did notice the rasp also on her latest Encore un soir at times, though not quite as prominent as on this 2013 release.A second issue with her voice is her breathy vocals. She doesn't do too much of that style of singing here and that's mostly a good thing. Her breathy vocals used to be spot on, but on this release they're marred with a underlying raspy overtone that says her voice may be damaged. One thing I do notice is that Celine has a hard time not putting tons of power behind everything she sings. While all of her breathy vocals have sounded good in the past, here it sounds like her voice is having troubles keeping up. However, her power vocals are still spot on. So, that's good.Overall, I like the album's songwriting and most of her deliveries. It's just that at times she hits a raspy note or uses a breathy vocal that leaves me scratching my head thinking, "Couldn't you have re-recorded that?"

Loved Me Back To Life
this new cd by Celine Dion is the best cd made by her so far. I really love this cd because it has fun and upbeat songs but also heartwarming songs. my favorite songs are Loved Me Back To Life, Always Be Your Girl, Incredible, and Unfinished Songs. Loved Me Back To Life is a fun and great love song with a great beat. Always Be Your Girl is a piano style song with a lot of heart and would be great as a romance love song or a mother/child relationship. Incredible is another fun song and sounds great because NE-YO is in it and Celine Dion and NE-YO sound great as a duet in a song. Unfinished songs is an inspirational and endearing song and is a song of hope. would recommend this cd to anyone even if you haven't liked Celine Dion's other cds. some of her older albums were boring and draggy but not this one.
