This kit comes with everything needed to start a shrimp ecosystem. The materials are high quality.The jar is medium sized and will fit under most lamps for the desired amount of light needed. The fan coral is fresh and came with algae growth on it (good food for the shrimp). The shells and lava stone arrived in great condition and smelled like they were in an established tank (should be seeded with bacteria like the sand). The sand is good quality black sand and the shrimp will create caves if the shells/rocks are set up properly.The shrimp were shipped in an insulated fish bag with a heating pack. It seems there were extra shrimp. There was one DOA. The seller offered to resend shrimp if I covered the cost of shipping - which seems fair.Setting up the ecosystem was challenging but if you know what your doing is doable and rewarding. After a couple of days my shrimp have settled into their environment and are eating and are healthy.All in all a great purchase/experience, I would recommend this product and small business!

I LOVE this eco system and my precious tiny shrimp. It came with everything you need, excluding water! The shrimp did turn transparent as is expected when under stress. It has been and few days and they are full of orange color and are thriving. I couldn’t be more pleased. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
