Works ok when plugged directly into logic level GPIO pins.
When plugged into the 5V (COM), 3v3(VCC) and GPIO (IN) pins of an ESP32 this worked fine for loads which would require too much power for a GPIO pin. There was no need to add a diode or transistor as they are already on the board. However, a couple of points:1) Removing either or both of the jumpers stopped the relay from working at all, One of the jumpers seems to isolate the trigger completely from the transistor and diode so I am not sure what is supposed to happen - the seller's description describes connecting VCC to GND??2) The trigger is very sensitive to voltage and would not switch at anything less than 3.26v and definitely not at the described lower end of 3v. Perhaps this is caused by the voltage drops across the on-board diode and transistor. Compare to a 5v relay board (without diode) which switched as low as 2.25v. The relay draws 89 mA from the 3.3v pin - the regulator is rated for a max of 250 mA.
