KhankaHard Case for Beoplay Beosound A1(2nd$1st Generation) Bang & Olufsen A1 Portable Wireless Bluetooth speaker.(case only)

I need to confess to being a bit of a case nut and I've got to say this is simply superb. It fits supremely well, very snug, unlike the photo which shows it upside down. The aluminium cover in fact fits into the plush lined lower section with the rubberised lower section fitting under the zipped cover. This is great, because it means you can tuck the cable and the leather thong into the handy net in the lid and it won't damage anything, which was my concern when looking at the photo. Its a really sturdy little hard case and would take an enormous amount of rough handling for travel, protecting my jewel of a music player. The zip is well away from the delicate parts and seems very sturdy. The little D ring seems adequate if not particularly sturdy and I will probably replace the little carry strap with a carabiner or something more sturdy. In all its a great case and heartily recommended.

The case is well made/finished and does the job of protecting the BeoPlay A1 quite well. Although I don't think it would save it from a drop from waist level or more (I haven't tested this! Its just an opinion based on observation and past experience with cases of this type!), but will give your speaker protection from general bumps and knocks . The zip seems to be of a decent quality.The image shows the A1 with the aluminium grill up, which is ok. But I prefer to insert the unit, grill first! This way any cable or accessories you may have stored in the lid's netted storage is less likely to damage the grills finish.A good looking, well tailored case.

The Khanka case fits the Beosound A1 and provides a good degree of protection against bumps and scratching. There is a small pocket for storing the charge cable which is handy.The case does fit the device very tightly and at first I thought it would not fit because the device's strap protrudes from the side and forcing it would potentially scratch / damage the device because of the metal clasp on the strap. HOWEVER if you place the device in, speaker grill first (see picture), it fits in without the chance of damage.

Really nice case with hard outer shell that snugly fits the speaker. Also has a little compartment where I keep the charging cable. Has held up well so far. Had it for about 7 months but I don't really take it out that much - mainly use speaker in the house and store it in the case when not using and very occasionally transport it so I guess I'm not the best test for wear and tear

The Beosound sits nicely in the shell and gives me confidence to put the speaker in a bag or case and not worry about it getting bashed up.I put my speaker facedown and tuck the lanyard into a pocket that sits in the lid. It all packs very snuggly.The shell seems quite robust although I have not drop tested it!If you are concerned about protecting your speaker this was works well.

Robust well made and looks good with sound to match, good battery life, pricey but worth it, highly recommended.

Excellent little case , the speaker fits really snugly and allows for the leather strap and charging cable to go in the mesh section in the top . The case compliments the A1 perfectly.

I only received this today after ordering a few days ago. Delivery was a few days later than originally indicated however it was not a problem for me.Firstly this case is a snug fit for the A1 and that's good as it reduces movement and scuffs on the A1. Top marks to B&O for the lanyard as it makes it easier to prize the A1 from it's new found cocoon.As another reviewer has stated the A1 fits perfectly upside down in the case as the shape is perfect. The USB charger cable nestles in the upper part in the mesh pocket. Mounting the A1 upside down also reduces the chance of scratches to the A1 top surface when the case is closed with the charger cable.Highly recommended item.
