Easy to use, simple & uncomplicated feature-set
The "URCERI Handheld Digital Light Meter Ambient Temperature Measurer with Range up to 200,000 Lux with 4 Digit Color LCD Screen" is a device most likely to be used in workplaces to ensure that light levels within them are within statutory limits, or possibly to ensure that street lighting is adequate. There may be similar uses in indoor horticulture. There may also be a use with stage and cinematic lighting, possibly alongside a photographers' light meter which converts light levels into exposure settings; this cannot do that without a high level of knowledge and several mathematical conversions. It has a secondary function as a digital thermometer. It is not of a professional standard, and would cost several times more were it to be, but adequate for most situations. It is powered by three AAA batteries (supplied) and uses a back-lit multi-colour LCD screen for its displays. Unlike some alternatives, the sensor is not detachable and does not rotate. The specific need is to ascertain charge times for solar watches from various brands owned and used by family members. The watches are of different types and generations and differ in their charge times. Estimates are given in each instance for a mix of indoor and outdoor situations and based upon different standards of measurements which are near-meaningless to most owners.Ideally, a watch is always best charged in bright sunlight in an open location e.g. a local park away from trees, and it may then need as little as 2 or 3 hours for a few weeks of use but around a half-day or more for a full charge. However, on overcast days and indoors it may take over 100 hours. Artificial light sources are potentially convenient during the months with fewer hours of daylight but their output levels may be unknown. Sources such as fluorescent tubes and incandescent lamps are often-quoted examples but not now widely used. This meter should help ascertain the light level at a known distance for an individual source (14W LED corn bulbs are currently chosen for their low heat emission and bright illumination). The times for a certain watch at a specified distance and light level may be longer than typically used (circa 30 hours) and explain why few last their full stated duration. There may be further uses yet to be identified.

Very useful
Very useful for checking the light quality for my houseplants. It's easy to use and understand.

Pretty decent
Much more precise than my current meter and exactly what I was looking for. A little difficult to read the screen and measure but thankfully it does have a hold feature which I am gradually getting used to.

easy to use
very easy to use. It's good to know if the light is suitable for kid to study. And it suprised me how low of the LUX the old light bulb provided, compare to the LED bulb.

Very Responsive.
I bought the Urceri light meter to measure light loss from LED bulbs around the house. It is very responsive so the slightest movement alters the reading a lot. Placing the meter on a fixed surface works best. The Fc setting (Foot candles? ) gives a more stable reading and since I am looking for a change in reading over time this is the one I prefer to use.

Great for quick lighting assessment
Consumer grade product, easy to use. Lux readings seem reasonably accurate but the temperature readings were more adrift on mine, but that was not what I bought it for. I would say that if all you need (as in my case) is a quick and easy indication of lighting levels this will do the job at a great price. If accuracy is more important pay the cost and get a prosumer item. Very happy with the purchase for my use however!
