This worked well on my kitchen ceiling.

I've got a small round damp patch on my living room wall, it's not my property,I rent it but its been bugging me for ages. I tried painting over it with magnolia and the damp stain came back through, I then sanded the wall with sand paper, and painted 3 x coats of damp seal paint on, leaving a day between each one, then I covered it with 2 coats of magnolia and you would never know there was any damp there. I am so pleased. It really annoyed me and I tried everything, have already ordered a second tin. Amazing product. Really pleased.

I dislike the fact that after applying it is a white and translucent patchy mess. The stain is still there. I gave it 3 coats but still the stain gets through. The wall itself dired out so it is an old stain and not even damp now. I now notice that the ad talks about the paint being "sheer" (see through). Why make a pint to cover stains that doesn't get rid of the stain? It says whute on the tine not patchy translucent and white. A big disappointment.

Used this on a damp wall about a month ago and gave it 2 coats. At the moment the wall is absolutely fine and have repainted it with no problems, hope this continues.
