A cut above................... sorry!
Always looking for an additional, useful tool to add to my sparky toolbox and this is a gem! Initially I was curious how plain bladed scissors could cut through cable, as normal scissors tend to slide off. What wasn't revealed before actually seeing them, is a very finely serrated edge on the blade with a crescent cutout. This obviously grips cable so that it can be sheared through! So, an ingenious multi purpose tool. It's VERY well made and works perfectly, cutting cable better than side cutters as it shears rather than pinches. Also coping with insulation, packaging, cable ties etc. One thing it would be very useful for is cutting the mains cables or plugs off defective equipment that's failed PAT, so they can't be used inadvertently, it's so quick and easy for that, whilst being useful for other tasks to. The ONLY thing I can find fault with is the belt pouch that's included, the press stud rivet is exposed on the inside so the scissors rub against it when inserting and removing, that's nit picking though. For practicality, quality and price this is a must have, smile inducing purchase!

Sharp!
Good quality, sharp and feel good to hold. Useful for stripping cable jackets on Cat6.

Excellent for Cutting Paracord
While I will use these for lots of other things, including electrical work, I primarily bought these hoping that they would be just the job for cutting paracord and I am not disappointed.Previously I have used other knives and scissors, but sadly most have tended to fray the ends of the paracord, not making for a very tidy end, ready for sealing. These are not doing that, so I am very pleased. The ordinary blades do a good job, but the cutting notch really comes into its own for this, holding the cord still whilst cutting. Using the ordinary blades also gives me good results, largely because of the micro serrations, which hold the cord in place.I am pleased that these come with the holder, as it protects the scissor ends from doing any damage to anything. It was fairly stiff, as I think someone else has commented, but on manipulating the scissors in it, I am happy that they now slide into it quite well. Any looser and they would fall out, I think. The holder has a useful flap for putting over a belt and with a press stud for closing, which would be handy for many people.I cannot say that I particularly like the colours, but otherwise, all in all, this is a good purchase.

Good Scissors
These are a really nice pair of scissor, very strong and feel nice to use. They cut very well I have used them up to 2.5mm² stranded and not had a problem, but I not sure I would use the prolonged for anything much bigger. They are particaly good for trimming the copper strands giving a nice clean cut.I find the stripping section to be a little on the sharp side, this makes them ideal for cutting heavier wire by a little more tricky to strip wires with out damaging the capper, on very small wires I find it almost it possible and just used my side cutters as I would have normaly. As general propose scissors they are very good seem to cut almost anything, a little short but that is the price you pay for being able to easily put them in your pocket. The Sheath is a little stiff but you are defianly not going to loose them out of it when pushed all he way in, but will sit nicely half in for repeated use. Hopefully the material will stretch a little over time.On a final note, I dont like that they are red and yellow, as they are not VDE rated I would have preferred them to not try and look like they are.I would recommend these, and they are currently on my belt.

Insanely good scissors. Added to my everyday carry.
These are awesome. Joined my everyday carry, even though I was not expecting to do that when I ordered. Two of the photos are screenshots from a video review I made about this. I don't think I can put links here but you can easily find it. My channel name is Nitsan Simantov. (BTW I bought these with my own money. Not a sponsored review or anything like that.)They cut a massive bunch of fabric like it's nothing. I mean literally as much fabric as I can squeeze between the blades. They will even slice small chunks out of 10mm thick wood. I didn't try live branches yet but I'd bet it would easily cut 15-20mm, depending on the type of plant. Most cables are no match. These cut right through like it's dairy-free butter. Also fantastic in the kitchen for opening up packets. These might actually change your life. lol. I ordered 2 more after seeing how good they are. :) Right now on sale for £13.50 but even at £19 I think they are worth every penny. They cut things 100 times easier than my £70 Spyderco pocket knife.I also bought a Facom branded pair that have the same handles and design, but they are built like utter garbage. Can't even cut a single piece of fabric properly.

High quality tool
A recent experience with some speaker cable that caused the breakage of a much used pair of standard scisors led me to seek a stronger alternative. Although short in length (15cm or 6-inches), they are more weighty and substantial than is immediately apparent. The handles are plastic but may hide a metal finger-grip within. There is a cut-out on one blade which will help stripping the insulation from many types of cable and a series of serrations on the same blade to minimise cable slippage. It comes with a canvas-type pouch which has a belt loop but the pouch is very stiff and needs to be coaxed to allow the scissors to be inserted up to the very substantial pivot bolt and nut. This one item alone, differentiates this tool from many lesser ones which may well use a non-adjustable riveted pivot. Not a low-cost item but a tool which could cope with many tasks and not be used solely as described, as an 'Electricain's scissors'.

These are staying in my toolbox
I was doing some electrician work with a friend for a year or so and he recommended these scissors to me. Since then I’ve not looked back. They stay sharp for ages, are comfortable to hold and they’re robust. They’ll last for quite some time.Highly recommend them, cheap too!
