For some reason, I thought it would be like a creamy, light-brown looking mushroom-flavored coffee. But it's just normal, black coffee, in both appearance and taste. If this were in a lineup with other coffees, I wouldn't be able to identify it. And after an entire bag, I didn't notice a difference in effect. I didn't feel any more focused or more alert than usual. So basically it comes down to whether or not I believe that this coffee will provide magic health benefits that I won't be able to detect. And do I believe it enough to pay twice as much for my coffee? Personally, I'll pass.
