Better Not Younger Superpower Liquid Comb, Scalp Massaging Serum Applicator

Luv it. It leakscl a little while sittng with liquid 8n it but I just put in what I'm going to use & I don't have oil running through my hair. Its on my scalp like it's supp8sed to be. I rhink 7tcworjs j6st fine. I've sent backva different brand because it just did not work but this one does the job & is simple to use. The oils sink into the scalp quickly & there is no oil c8mbed through my hair 8f I wait 5 to10 minutes so it completely absorbs into my scalp.

I don’t use this brands serum but I use this device and love it!! I actually just bought a second bc I have multiple hair serums. This gets it right on the scalp and feels so invigorating. Great tool and worth the price. Hair serums aren’t cheap and what’s the point if I’m not getting them directly on the scalp. Can’t wait until my second one comes and I can start using day and night!!

I actually love this item. It's easy to use and helps with light massaging of my scalp. I use it with the oil that is recommended. The reason for the 4 stars is that you need to be very careful when filling and that can take time. Be careful not to leave any product in or it will leak. It does state this in the instructions and it does have a bottom to catch the spill.

This is my first Amazon review. I've bought a few other root applicators on Amazon, and they all sucked. I bought this even though shipping would take a bit long, but man was it worth it. Plus, I can now get it under prime, so I bought another one and I'm getting next day shipping.As for its performance, It's larger than the others so it's a huge time saver. You don't need to tilt your head down so the applicator is going down with gravity like other applicators; This one can work even upside-down. I also EASILY get this applied across my entire head with only 1ml of solution, but this thing takes up as much as 30ml incase I ever add anything else to my stack. I love this!

In theory this thing is super cool. I want my hair oil to go directly on my scalp in a nice uniform way… but they oil just doesn’t come out.. I’ve applied lots of pressure and I even tried pumping the rubber part to help it come out and it just doesn’t really come out. The roller things don’t scratch your scalp but it also is not necessarily like a scalp massager tho either.

Pretty much all of these serum applicators appear very suspect, but I thought this one would be superior in quality given the price.Nice packaging and materials, but unfortunately it’s below average at achieving its main function. It does not apply serum well.Some other pro’s first and foremost- it’s very comfortable to use. The shape glides easily on the scalp and it just feels better than the standard “pinch” models that are sold on Amazon. I love that it has more dispensers than the others as well, and the silicone top is softer and easier to press than those “pinch” types.As for the cons: the reservoir is huge, I can’t imagine why anyone would need to apply that much of anything - it could cover the entire body. Most likely this was a secondary effect to designing the body, because it is easy to hold in this size. I wouldn’t care about that if it worked better. Because it’s entirely opaque, there’s no way to see how much serum is left to apply. I thought it might even be faster given the number of dispensers, but after 2x-3x the amount of time - I sometimes can’t get through even half of the serum. It just doesn’t seem to dispense properly. Increased pressure on the button doesn’t seem to make a difference.I use it with a dutasteride multi-mix solution at night and a minoxidil 5x in the morning. Always rinsing and rolling the dispensers to ensure it’s well cleaned.Overall, the cheap alternatives maybe prevalent for a reason: they work relatively well and are simple.

It works to get the job done, but I expected the liquid to flow out a better than what it does. I do eventually getting the result I want, just requires me to push down harder, move it slower, and give it a second pass.

If you are using liquid minoxidil and don’t have an applicator like this, buy this now! It is well worth the money and has made it so easy for me to regularly apply liquid minoxidil. What used to take me 3-5 minutes and still leave me with greasy hair now takes less than 60 seconds and my hair stays by and large dry. I am able to apply product to my entire scalp with ease. I can’t believe I went a year without this. The ease of application is paying dividends in my hair growth. I am actually seeing area fill in and you can’t easily see my scalp anymore when my hair is in a ponytail. This is a must have.
