Very durable
This is a nice, heavyweight tape measure. The tape itself is not flimsy and numbers are large and easy to read.

It's been pretty good
The media could not be loaded. The 25' USA takes a lot of abuse and I'd have gone that route, I just didn't need it so long, 16' was fine for me, but my tape has a kink in it. I would get the 25 because it's tested 10x tougher. If you look carefully the end has 3 rivets holding it in place, the 2mm that the end hangs off will add up to 1" , it's probably to help with a not so perfect angle or concrete edge. So that is not really a problem at all. The 25" has double sided markings and a clear protective layer over the first 18" or something. I actually like this tape for the smaller size. Get whatever you like. It's been some months now and I'm upping my review to a good 4/5 , I wish they could put the features of the 25' into a 16, that's about all.

Nice compact tape with good extension
I've been in the trades for 40+ years and still use a tape frequently in retirement. I remember back in the '70's the standard was the 16' tape, usually Stanley or Lufkin. The extension was a little over 60' and then the tape measure wars started. First the 20, then the 25, 30, an onward to ridiculousness lengths for a retractable tape, with the blades getting wider and wider for longer and longer extension capabilities. Soon they will be putting wheels and handles on them. After you've had your fun and gotten over your complexes, give yourself a rest with a nice hand size tape measure that will do anything you need a tape measure to do. You can take that one extra step if needed to hook your tape onto the end of whatever, and you might even save a couple minutes a day not trying to hook your tape on something 20' away on windy days. Give this puppy a try and you'll feel like you're young again with a 16' tape like back in the good old days! OK maybe the 70's weren't all that great, but you know what I mean.
