Hi Mark! This interior dimension of the carry case is exact same size of my iPhone4s with the case cover. The Apple iPhone 4S (5th Gen) has height of 4.54” (115.2 mm), width of 2.31” (58.6 mm), depth of . 37” (9.3 mm). So here is the interior dimension. I bought two carry cases, one for my iPhone4s and other for my iPod touch but my iPod touch without the case cover does not fit. Too small. I hope it helps!

The inside has rounded corners, so the largest device that would fit without crushing the edges is 4.5" x 2.5". We use it for an iPod Classic, which fits fine.
