Not sure how to write a review of PP9 batteries but these are going in Carbon Monoxide alarms in my home - so I am sure you will agree... where longevity and quality can make the difference of saving your life - so you don't much about do you... You buy the name you know you can rely upon.

Pack of two bought for a smoke alarms, the beeping has stopped so it must be working. Good date given for Battery life. Have a spare now for when the other detector starts beeping. Good value too.

How come there is an £11 difference in the price of size 8 compared to size 9? What a con. This practice should not be allowed and does nothing for consumer confidence or loyalty

Not much to say. Fits smoke alarm. Ask me again in 12mths.

Have used these for many years in our smoke alarms and got into the habit of replacing every year. Two weeks ago our local fire service called and as we are in our seventies, fitted new smoke/heat detectors with 10+ year batteries. They also tested the old alarms. They said that they were still in good condition, no evidence of corrosion and the batteries were pristine and would last more than a year; they advised that as long as we tested the alarms regularly there was no reason to take out.
