Vacmaster 951333 Official Universal Washable Cartridge Filter for both dry and wet use, for 15-60L Wet and Dry cleaners,White

I had a doubt when I first pulled it out of the box, but it is a perfect fit for my Wickes branded workshop vac. The filter fits snuggly over the cage, and the bottom plate locks it in place.It is a massive improvement over the fabric filters that came with the vacuum cleaner, which is not surprising: The fabric gets sucked into the cage, leaving a small surface area to pull air through. This filter is corrugated, so the exposed surface area is considerably higher than the surface area of the cylinder. The vac is finding it much easier to keep up with the output from the table saw.

Was looking for a fine dust filter so gave this a punt, fits like a glove and works a treat.

Good quality, tight fitting, washable filter, considered reasonably good value for the money.

For the price of four paper-type replacements, that are deemed to be no longer available, it seems a tad expensive particularly if (like me) you have other means of sucking up water spills?This item was advertised to be delivered by 1pm the next day - instead it took three and a half days - as Amazon opted to send it via Royal (Snail) Mail. In which case I just might as well have got it cheaper, and for the same tree days wait from a t'internet auction site!!

Peefectly fit for my vacuum, was looking for washable filter, works great.

My old vacmaster has had a hard life doing both wet and dry jobs, lots of nasty dust during lots of DIY and a new filter was due.The vacuums normally come with separate wet and dry filters, which works fine and are quite easy to swap but it is a bit of hassle and I have cut myself on one occasion.Rather than stick to the separate wet and dry filters I went for his as a replacement.This does both jobs - doesn't care if wet or dry. I was skeptical the suction power might be worse in dry mode but its absolutely fine. Don't see why I would go for separate filters any more - this wasn't much more money and can just sit in there..

Studying the product photos with the Vacmaster, I thought the design of my Vac King (from MachineMart) internals looked like a copy and pleased to say that the HEPA filter fits perfectly giving a significant upgrade. Perfect for workshop dust collection downstream of an inline cyclone - hardly anything get through to the Vac dust chamber. Only the really really fine stuff which the HEPA filter now blocks. Spot on!

After a good couple of years abusing my vacuum cleaner as an electrician I upgraded to this from the paper filter and I was genuinely surprised at how much more powerful the suction was! It was like a brand new vacuum again.
