Nice to still be able to get CD's..Thanks for the speedy delivery..

Ever since I bought this CD the day it came out I've been listening to it non-stop! I was so glad to hear bassist Murphy Karges say that this CD was the best representation of the band, because it's my favorite. The band carries on their reggae tunes but have also included sounds of ska and punk. Track listings:1. Answer The Phone- simple song with killer guitar riffs; great for blasting the volume and jamming.2. When It's Over- favorite single of many; great song for fans of their other hits like "Someday," "Every Morning," and "Fly."3. Under The Sun- remembering the good times, it's the band's tribute to 80's groups like Run DMC, Culture Club, The Clash, and Men Without Hats; great riff from Murph's bro.4. Satellites- classic rock song with incredible beats from Stan on the drums and Rod on the electric guitar; make sure to catch the clip after the song.5. Waiting- great guitar riffs (again!) especially at beginning and end; nice love song about waiting to get the girl.6. Ours- slower song about a manege-a-trios; comic story line.7. Sorry Now- awesome guitar riffs; upbeat song that you'll want to listen to full blast.8. Stay On- amusing duet of Mark McGrath and 311's Nick Hexum; sounds of ska influences.9. Words To Me- fun summer song with a great beat that encourages you to "Get Up!" and have a good time; cool sounds from DJ Homicide.10. Just A Little- nice song with great guitar riffs; far from what you'd expect from the band because of it's country(!) sound.11. Disasterpiece- awesome 80's sounding rock song with great guitar riffs; complete with shouts of "oohahoo!" and a harmonica, not surprising since the band wrote the song after they were on tour with the Goo Goo Dolls.This is a great CD that will never bore you because all of the songs are completely different. And it's also probably the only CD that I've bought that I love to listen to all the way through. If you're like me, you'll never want to stop listening to it. It is definitely worth the money!YOU GUYS ROCK!!

I didn't expect much of this cd at first but it's really great. Almost all the songs except I liked them. Great follow up to their first 3 cd's.

Not to say that this cd is bad because it isn't. When thinking of this cd I just think slightly above average.1. Answer the Phone 7.5/10This track is bouncy. You can bob your head to it a little so that's nice. But it never really goes anywhere. Good but nothing great.2. When It's Over 8/10Now this is the track that made me wanna buy this cd way back in 2001. Here it is, 2006 and I finally get to it! Anyway, I like the guitar and the pop tone it has. The lyrics do the trick but there's nothing deep here. Remember the video?!3. Under the Sun 7.5/10The cd heads into a slightly different direction with this track. Guitar is a bit heavier bringing in a rockier edge. Again, lyrics aren't much BUT Mark reminisces a bit with his lyrics mentioning Run DMC and the beach. It still has a pop feel though.4. Satellites 7/10This has a bit of a latin flair to it. The chorus is noisy almost overshadowing the lyrics. But so far, so good. As it continues this song seems a bit filler come to think of it. Sorry, but it really wasn't anything special. The ending's nice though.5. Waiting 7/10The pop edge has gone now. Mark goes on about some chick he's kept waiting. But the line: She looked at me and softly said, "I'm gonna love you 'til the day I die." is neat. It makes me think about all the possibilities with the people I'll meet in college. But I get off track. Besides that line, the song goes nowhere.6. Ours 8/10"She was your woman but she was my girl." This line is the start and repeats later on a couple of times. The feel of the music is good. "Shut the door, baby. Don't say a word. Talk about flashback to 14:59! This song has a real chill vibe to it. It gets a little repetitive at the end but it's still likeable.7. Sorry Now 7.5/10Pop-Rocky and upbeat. "Why can't you come and say you need me?" By this point the cd does a good job at making these songes blend as one.8. Stay On 7/10A collaberation with Nick Hexum from 311. It even has a feel of one of their songs. Overall, it's bland.9. Words to Me 7.5/10Hip to the Hop. This had a little bit of that flavor. The lyrics are still underwhelming though. The guitar however, does its job well. Somewhat of an upbeat fluffier track.10. Just A Little 9/10The country vibe is actually nice. When usually I don't care too much for it, it fits here. I also like Mark's voice on this song.11. Disasterpiece 7/10The end of the CD makes way quickly. The guitars once again do their work. The harmonica jams its way through. but it doesn't help this song's mediocrity. Don't worry--I didn't jam out.Overall, this cd just has an average feel to it.--Adrian

Sugar Ray always surprised me with their stuff. They don't seem to fit into the Pop mold, but yet their biggest hits were usually on the pop chart. This is as little more pop-y than their other stuff, but it's still pretty good.
