I originally tried this for my widespread nerve pain from fibromyalgia. It really started helping right away and has been building in helpfulness taking the edge off of the pain over the last few weeks. I also have a tbi and serious memory issues. I've been taking cognium for that which has been a huge help but just kind of maintains the same level of elevated cognitive function over the last year. My boyfriend made a comment yesterday that my short term memory has really improved and he's noticed a big difference and asked if I did anything new. This is the only thing I've added to my routine. I did a little research and there actually is some evidence that this supplement can help with memory. I love this, It really helps with my Neuropathy. I have it in my fingers tips and my feet. My feet don't burn like they did, maybe one and a while they do. I can tell the difference when I forget to take it. I tried Neuriva, that was a waste of money. The only thing in it was the alpha lipoid acid that helped, so I am saving a lot of money buying this. I started at 300mg a year ago now I take 600mg. works better than anything else. The doctors don't even know what to do.

I have been taking now for close to 60 days. I purchased as a last resort for my awful spiking nerve pain. Surprisingly I don’t get those spikes anymore so I wonder if this really works. I have never bought any vitamins or anything else for my nerve pain but after researching this product I decided to give it a shot.I guess I won’t really know if it works unless I stop using it for a month to see what happens.Maybe I will and update my review with the results.

I have lumbar stenosis and the nerve pain translates to my quads, calves and feet. This is due to reduced disc and vertebral gaps in my L-3 to S1 from compressed discs (Herniation) I have received the occasional cortisone injection to block much of the pain although not 100% as a remedy. I thought this product from Nutricost would help to relieve the tingling and needling in my feet. I was skeptical. I read that these Lipoic Acid products increase the myelin thickness that sheath walls around the extended nerves. I considered that it may increase {improve) induction which is the opposite of what I wanted. Other reviewers are seeking to reduce neuropathy and reduce tingling and pain in the extremities. I must say that I probably am not such a case because the source of my pain is lumbar stenosis pain. So after two weeks of two pills (600 mg) daily, I noticed more tingling in my fingers which did not exist before, more tingling in my calves, ankles and toes NOT LESS. So this product is not helpful, but made more negative issues than without it. I have since discontinued Alpha Lipoic Acid as a supplement and find more negative than positive results.

Very happy with this product. Have ordered four bottles so far and plan to order more. Also this was recommended by my doctor.
