So far the clock works as advertised. The reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the battery connection and compartment.First, the connector for the 9 volt battery does _NOT_ come out of the clock, so the battery has to be connected by sliding the battery in at an angle to connect it, and you have to hope the bottom connector makes a good connection, because you cannot see the connector.Second, the battery compartment is extremely small and the battery barely fits into it. To get the battery out of the compartment requires a small blade, screwdriver, etc. to pry it out.As a neutral comment, the clock is a little "old-fashioned" in setting the time. Two buttons (TIME and HOUR) have to be pressed and held down to set the hour. Two buttons (TIME and MIN) also have to be pressed and held down to set the minutes.

This SHARP alarm clock is exactly what I needed! The red LED display is bright and easy to read, even from across the room. Setting the time and alarm is a breeze with the intuitive top button controls. The 9-minute snooze function is perfect for those mornings when I need just a bit more rest. I especially appreciate the battery backup feature — during a recent power outage, it retained all my settings without a hitch. It's compact, reliable, and user-friendly.

Really like the size and the fact that it has a real pronged plug and not usb powered. It would be a great clock if it kept time. Has been randomly losing an hour. Not sure how that can be. If power was interrupted, it would default to 12:00am and then go from there. Happens randomly at all different hours of the day or night. Look up at clock before getting up and think I have over an hour still and then panic ensues when you check your phone and realize the time changed on the clock. Going to have to return and try another brand.
