Latest 600VA APC Back UPS

This is a cool looking UPS, I did some research before buying and chose to went with this model and seller which have high rating and I am not disappointed. I was expecting that it will take time to delivery because it is heavy item, but item arrived third day of order in Bangalore, so people in Bangalore can get fast delivery.I am using it for about 4 days now, I have not checked the full battery back up time, but checked for about 5 mins. and it runs fine. It makes some feeble buzzing sound when in battery mode like other UPS. I am powering a LG 49" LED TV (~110W), CPU (~150W average - Pentium G4500 based), Router, Printer, DTH box. Running fine.Noteworthy features:- The manual says that you should not plug "surge protected" power strips to the outlet but only use plain power strips.- On power outage, it does NOT make annoying loud beep sound but more comfortable to hear beeps. Also, beep starts 1 min AFTER power failure and thereafter beeps every minute. It is supposed to make 2 beeps every 10 seconds once battery power is left for 2 mins only. (I did not check full discharge)- Batter Saver feature is supposed to enhance life of battery (while slightly reducing backup time). Battery Saver also turns on No Load Shutdown feature, which means if load is less than 30W, the UPS will shutdown after 5 mins. If you want to use it for router / cordless phone / printer etc. primarily and have generator power that comes within 5 mins, you can still use the Battery Saver feature otherwise you may need to turn it off.- The size is different from typical other 600VA ups, so make sure you have enough height where you want to keep it. The stand like plastic base is integrated and you cannot put the UPS in any other position (it is recommended to keep straight also as the base is made strong to take weight of battery and transformer).- The arrangement of 3 power outlets at the back looks neat, but usability is a challenge. I am sure most of the people will not be able to use all 3 outlets simultaneously as any slightly bigger plug or adapter will cover at least one adjacent outlet.- There is no direct or unprotected outlet as some UPS have.

I have received it only a few days back. It is working absolutely O.K.After the battery got fully charged, I have tried it out by switching the main power OFF. The UPS continued to give power to my PC and my data was not lost. I kept working on my computer for about 15 mins without power supply and there was no problem. After about 15 mins, I heard continuous beeping sound (1 beep per second) and the Power ON/OFF started flashing green, I switched ON the main power again. Then 'Charging LED' illuminated showing that the battery is now getting charged.Throughout this time, my data was not lost and 15 mins is good enough time to save your work before the computer gets totally switched OFF.I love the product. Now I have to see how many years of troublefree service this UPS gives me.

APC BR600CI-IN UPS Though the model mentioned in the amazon product page was APC BR600CI-IN, I got a APC BX600CI-IN UPS. I am not sure if the product page heading have a typo. The other specifications matched the description in the product page in amazon.in.I have bought this product on 23-Jan-17. I got it delivered at my home on 26-Jan-17. The packaging was very good. The package contained user manual, product registration form with paid envelope, and the UPS. MRP mentioned on the box label is Rs 3500. I bought it for Rs 2835 from seller 'tanishq'. Manufacturing date on the label is Nov-2016. Overall score 5/5 for seller, for packaging and speed of delivery.My primary use of the UPS was a power backup for my wifi router and optical cable adaptor. I have tested this UPS after charging the battery to full. When the battery save feature is ON, I observed the UPS shuts down at 5mins, as the wifi router and optical cable adaptor may be having combined power consumption less than 30W - which is expected. This is clearly mentioned in the user manual. I have tested the UPS after charging full with battery save OFF. This have provided battery backup for 30mins+ for my wifi router and optical cable adaptor, which is impressive. Overall product score 5/5.So far this is all I have on first day of usage of the product. I will post more if I have anything to share.

I am giving the rating, not for the dealer, but for the productI got the item delivered promptly by the dealer, but the product is not as per quality expectedWhen the UPS goes on to Battery mode, there is buzzing noise.For 600 VA inverter I guess this should not happenMy home UPS 800 VA does not make any noise.When contacted the customer care, they replaced the unit.But the new one too has the same buzzing noise.According to the engineer, this model has the buzzing noise.Its ridiculous Company like APC should make better products.They should put as a known issue to the product description "MAKES BUZZING NOISE BE AWARE !!!!"

Almost using it for 2 years without issue

i've been using this UPS for a week. i'm absolutely loving it. it provides backup for 10 mins for my 22 inch all in one which is more than what was expected out of this price range. trust APC blindly, its now owned by scneider electrical so support wont be a problem. kudos to amazon, it shipped very early, nut Gati presented some problems, so delivery not around Bangalore is a little hassle. overall - best in class, value for money.
