Lowrey's Bacon Curls Microwave Pork Rinds (Chicharrones), Original, 1.75 Ounce

These skins are delicious. I have tried the original and spicy flavor. It is amazing how they pop up in the microwave. You have to shake the bag for 30 sec. like directions say. I find when I shake the bag as directed I get more skins. My whole family loves these skins. They still even pop while they are in the bag when you take them out of the microwave. I like to see that happen. The texture of the skins when you bite into them are great to. It's hard to describe that the skins are soft and crunchy at the same time if that makes sense. Try them. I would reccommend these skins.

The pork rinds were delicious! However, I should have given it only three stars because it was over-priced. After receiving the ONE package, I ordered a box of 18 for about the same price. I gave them as gifts to my friends because I knew that they had never had them. They were delighted and loved them. I'll buy them again. But.....not from this distributer.

As a LCHF/KETOer, I was excited to try these as chicharrones are a staple on my ketogenic diet. I had read the mixed reviews but thought I'd give them a try! First, this is only for 1 packet. I misread the description and thought I was atleast getting 3 for nearly $6.00. Hot? Yes! Crispy? Yes! Super Salty? Double yes! The saltiness was overpowering and really not enjoyable, there is not enough water in the world to help me recover from that. Great concept but I will stick with the norm.

Easy to prepare in the microwave. Generally overpriced and kind of salty.

About 10 years ago I was introduced to microwave skins and they were light, crispy and fluffy but then I couldn’t find them anymore so I was so excited when I discovered these but they were very salty (and I like seasoning but this was too much) they have a good flavor but just a little too much salt, plus you got like a handful of skins that were more like cracklin size instead of the size of skins you would normally buy and definitely overpriced for what you. I only bought one bag just to see if I liked them and Im glad I didn’t, a great effort but they need to go back to the drawing board.

The smell at first is off putting , but its fresh and a really decent replacement for popcorn

I like the idea of being able to make these at home, but the flavor was not what I was expecting and they are WAY too salty for my taste. There was a huge amount of salt left on my fingers and the plate after eating these. I also don't like the fact that they come in a bag because you can't see if enough time has passed for all of them to "pop". Half the bag was popped after 1.5 minutes. I would have put the remaining half back in except after I tasting a few and realized how salty they were I knew I wouldn't want more. About the taste they tasted like they had some sort of seasoning on them other than salt. Not very "porky" flavored like the ones you get at the store. Disappointed.
