Arrived shattered.
Arrived completely shattered as if the package had been dropped during shipment. I think breakage of this fragile item would be mitigated if V & B packaged it in form fitting styrofoam like items from Lenox and Fitz and Floyd.

Shipping carton inadequate to protect the product
This beautiful bowl is off center and it needs a lot of protection to keep the edge from chipping off. NO packing was provided around the bowl and it broke. I cannot in good conscience have a broken bowl shipped back overseas (would not have bought it if knew that it was coming from Fife, England). I will just try and glue the piece and give it to goodwill. SAD
