Super convenient
Works great, much more convenient than using the hand tool. I use it with a Bauer Rechargeable Screwdriver from harbor freight to keep the speed and torque down, works like a charm.

Great little tool
After my $500+ hornady case prep center burned out on me a month or two after the warranty expired I was in the market for something else. Also given the lack of repeatability that device provided I was skeptical of buying another. Also not shooting competitively and just messing around out to 600 yards I wasn’t looking for something super precise, but easier than my other hornady manual trimmer device.Enter this thing. For the money I decided to give it a try along with one trim die. Using a 90 degree drill makes this thing easy to use. It does a great job of trimming and because it chamfers and deburrs all at once it removes extra steps. It can be adjusted within a certain amount so you aren’t stuck at the bare min trim length. After the success of the first cartridge I bought more quick trim dies for pretty much everything that I shoot. It works great for when I am converting 308 brass to 375 raptor. Given how much I need to hog off.The only cons are that it isn’t super precise, but based on what you are going for you don’t need to be. I can still get 1/2 moa groups with the brass this thing trims without too much effort. If I was chasing something ultra precise I would definitely go with something else, but this works great for what I want. The other con is that you have to clean it every couple casings depending on how much you are trimming. Cleaning is easy, I just push it up and down on the leg of my bench and it allows the shavings that have built up to clear themselves out. It’s a bit inconvenient and if not done it can damage you quick trim dies. All in all it’s well worth the money

Get the Power trimmer if you have a lot of cases to do!
I previously used LEE's manually operated Precision Quick Trim to decrease the case lengths of .45 Colt brass from 1.284" down to 1.224" (the cartridge overall lengths need to be 1.58" in my particular .45 Colt revolver and the bullet I'm using is a bit longer than the usual 250 grain bullets). This worked well but took at least 5 minutes for each case.I had to trim 30 cases for my next reload, so I purchased the LEE POWER Case Trimmer and attached it to my cordless screwdriver with its 1/4" hex drive. WOW! the case got trimmed in no time! However, I found it best to trim from the 1.284" original length down to about 1.227" or so, and then finish with the manual LEE case trimmer to slowly approach the desired length of 1.224". Hope this helps!

Spin each case 180 degrees
I love this thing, my cases come out perfect everytime, i do spin them 180 and hit each one twice to keep them even, just sized, tapered and deburred 200 cases in record time!!!

Fragile and undependable
I have used Lee products for over 50 years and always defended them until recently. LEE has quality control, materials and tolerances to fall far below standard on SOME products. This device might have been good if it were made with STEEL parts instead of PLASTIC parts and if it had tighter tolerances. The Plastic adjustment ring broke the very first time I tried to test it. Lee sent a free plastics repair parts kit. I had to pay shipping. Unfortunately the kit was for a different model.I did try to use the trimmer even with the broken adjustment ring. It chewed up some cases but finally trimmed a few within specs but rough cut and inconsistent length. I kept think that I might think of a way to fix this trimmer and today I decided how to fix the problem. I will return the Deluxe Power Quick Trim Case Trimmer AND the Quick Trim Die.300 AAC Blackout. I decided to order the WFT2 from Little Crow Gunworks instead after trying one a friend brought over.I was reminded that the lowest price is usually not the bargain. I wasted time, effort, and materials.

,223 and .308
It just works. I tried another drill mounted trimmer, but it was hard to set and lacked consistency. As others have said, there is a feel and it must be set up properly. I've heard reading the instructions help, I can't answer to that tho. Once set, I get consistent +-.001". I'm not going for that 3.5" group at 1000yd yet, so that'll do til then. Keep it clean, a little light oil, I just use the same oil as on my weapons. I will get another cutter so I can set one for .223 and another for .308. Not necessary. just eliminates the need to reset for each caliber. I also added locking rings that I use on all my dies for ease of set up and consistency. I use an electric screwdriver or a 1/4" drive power ratchet when that batt dies. Good for the price, as are most Lee products.
