I am a industrial electrician and work with a lot of motors,pumps and saws. I bought this so when I wire something in I get the motor rotation correct right away. It works perfectly and is good quality.

Exactly as described

The instrument is well built and the test leads and alligators are top quality. I bought it just for the de-energized motor rotation test. Tested on a SEW 25HP recently powered motor and barely could get rotation reading after rotating the shaft for a while (not quarter turns like some videos show). Tested on two 250HP US Motors powered last time about one year, the instrument failed to respond (there is a note in manual about that)
