its a little different from what expected but its working.took me some time to find some drives, wish they would come with it or instructions whereto download them from.

Exact OEM Replacement for my Asus ROG G750 series Laptop
This item replaced a defective DVD Drive and is the exact drive model as the OEM DVD Drive that was included with the Asus ROG G750...The OEM drive (2014) eventually had intermittent issues Reading and Writing to CD-R's & DVD-R's and became totally unreliable...I recommend this replacement drive for any Laptop that can use the same dimensions as this drive... It WORKS!Remember to replace swap the Plastic Bezel / Face Plate from the front of the drive and the rear metal mounting bracket in the same location as the original... Videos demonstrating how to do this are available on YouTube...
