Worked Well---Am very pleased...be PERSISTENT like directions tell you to!
The first application worked for a few days. So, I repeated it and same results. Third time, I left the kitchen and the drains in one bathroom unused for 48 hours and SUCCESS! So far so good. Application was easy and smelled pleasant. Glad I used it instead of harsh chemicals. Three applications used up the whole bottle. Will purchase it again if those pesky drain flies come back. For reference I did not have a bad infestation. Just a couple of flies in kitchen that started multiplying in my kitchen trash and 2-3 pesky ones in one bathroom.

It works
I’ve been trying a similar product for a while and the drain flies would go away and seemed to keep coming back. I tried this product and it took about a week of daily applications for the flies AND larvae to disappear completely. The larvae actually started coming out of the drain overnight and we would see them slowly dying. The hot water would wash them down the drain and now at about 2 weeks post last application, I haven't seen any.

Most Disappointing
I am so disappointed in the effectiveness of this product. I have this persistent and annoying problem of drain flies, you know those little turds that seem to be hanging around your kitchen sink, smoking and drinking whatever intoxicating drinks they find in your sink's drain, then annoyingly buzzing around you, your house, and wherever it is you're trying to eat.In my desperation to get rid of these annoying flies, I purchased the "Fruit Fly & Drain Fly Killer - Simple Commercial Drain Gel Treatment – Eliminates Gross Fruit/Sewer Flies & Gnat Infestations from Any Drain. Fast & Easy - 1 Gallon (128 Ounces)" for $33.09.Based on the product's details and potential effectiveness, I expected to use only eight ounces per drain and have plenty leftover for any future occurrences.WELL, in three days I've managed to use about half of the jug's content, applying the gel as directed, and these flushing flies still seem to be kickin' it around the drain. I wish Amazon would critique a more effective five-star product.

Works but may take repeat treatments
I had a very severe drain fly infestation this year, for some reason. I have it a little bit every year (i always assume from buying bananas in the summer) but it was worse this year. Maybe this was partly because someone in my household kept buying bananas and peaches and leaving them sitting out to ripen. Maybe it was the weather. For whatever reason, it was pretty bad - I would sometimes see two or three gnats/drain flies at the same time, for example, around the sink. A couple of times, we saw drain flies in our beverages. Usual solutions (bowl of water/vinegar/dish soap, and those blue lights with sticky cards you plug up) were killing them, but not fast enough to make a noticeable difference. So, I bought this stuff. I have never used it before. I used this one time in some drains I had not seen drain flies near just in case, and twice in the drains where I did see drain flies. I have some left over, so when I see drain flies trying to make a comeback, I put a little (not a full dose) on the drain because I figure it'll at least disrupt their movement and maybe cause them to not be as successful.I have been doing this for nearly two weeks, and I still see the occasional drain fly/gnat, but far fewer than before starting. It has gone from a kind of crazy level to a low, normal, manageable level. I'm hoping to get to zero gnat sightings for a week, and I think it could happen soon if I push them to colony collapse.

It's Working
Might be too early to tell but I have always been infested with gnats and drain flies. I am treating now 1x a week and so far I only see one or 2 here and there.

Sink flies are gone!
this truely works to get rid of drain flies or whatever flies are living in my pipes. I tried all of the homemade products like vinegar and baking soda, etc; nothing worked. Flies would still be in the house.First time down all the sinks and shower drains, no flies for a month. Did it again yesterday - figured I got the adults and these were the nymphs that matured after dousing. It’s a really thick, easy to use, gel. No sloppy gulping, splatter or spilling.I am always keeping a container on hand from now on.A product that does what it says it will; rare!BUY? YES

Does not work, citronella is a scam anyway
So, I have drain flies. No surprise, or I wouldn't be buying this product. For 3 days, I had done the usual, clean carefully, vinegar and baking soda, hot (just off boiling as to not kill pipes) water flushes of sink, cider vinegar traps. And I'd reduced the flies from a small cloud to a dozen or so a day. But they wouldn't go down past a dozen or so. I was ready to use Drano and other methods to deep clean the pipes, but the wife preferred (and I see the reasons) pouring less toxic crap into wastewater. So bought this product, followed instructions fully, and repeated for three days.Result? More flies than before, even while keeping up the hot water daily treatments! Looking carefully at the active ingredients, all this is some citronella oil, which most active studies show doesn't act as a repellant, and a surfactant. It's basically a mild soap plus citronella oil. Sure, it's natural, but it isn't effective. Note the product doesn't even say HOW it's supposed to prevent/reduce flies. Giving the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt, they probably believe that it prevents the flies from congregating and breeding due to the citronella and the mild soap helps clean gunk, but that leaves this product ineffective past the cleaning possibility.ETA - for the record, when I contacted Natural Armor via email they responded very politely within less than 24 hours, and stood by the 100% satisfaction pledge, so I'm in the process of returning the unused portion for a full refund. So while I won't rate the product as successful for me at least, they put their money where their mouth is.
