This blanket saved our home
I had bought this a while ago as a precaution with the hope of never having to use, well today I had to use it when my hob went alight. The fire was in a really awkward corner to access so smothering the fire fully with the blanket was difficult, after applying the blanket I used wet rung out towels to weigh the blanket down and smother the remains of the fire and this is how we still have a home to sleep in tonight. The fire was out within 10 mins, before the fire brigade arrived and thankfully caused minimal damage due to us using this so quickly! It’s not often you get to see these products reviewed from actual use so I really wanted to share my experience!

I bought this for my diy projects..
I bought a fire blanket as I diy a lot especially with lithium batteries and i just needed something to help me in case of a fire and this does the trick..

Looks good and good price, not had to use
We've not had to use this yet luckily but it's a good price and seems to be good quality to keep in our kitchen

Good product, just watch out for splinters.
Great product and perfect size.I demonstrated how to use it to my kids 14 and 10 (because it’s never too early to learn basic fire safety.) However, all three of us ended up with fibreglass splinters in our hands and wrists, so just be aware. That’s a small price to pay though if we do need to put out a fire one day.
