Excellent keyboard. Exactly at apple keyboard but fraction of the price. Can't beat this. Use it everyday for work. Love it

This is a good typing keyboard with a good feel and matches the Apple aesthetic. The cable is quite cheap, though, and made of stuff that keeps its shape forever. I've had mine for months and you can still see every bend from when it was shipped.

When I first ordered this the keyboard came bent. The box was perfectly fine without any damage or anything but the keyboard, which is quite thin came bent very severely. Then today, less than 3 months after purchase, it stopped working on me mid typing. Not all the keys stopped working so I worried I had activated some sort of shortcut to disable the home row but if that is even a possibility, there is nothing documented that would help me know what to do. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

At first the caps lock engaged by itself (the light did not come on). Now when I hit the caps lock, the light comes on but: no caps lock. It seems to have a mind of its own.----- Update July 21st, 2022 -----The manufacturer contacted me within a few days without my asking. To make this update short, we exchanged a few emails, via the Amazon communication system, and the next day I had a new keyboard that works very nicely. That is good customer service. I really do like this keyboard. It has good tactile feedback with every keypress. Oh, and they never once asked to to update this review.

The keyboard on my 3-year-old 15” MacBook Pro stopped working and wasn’t covered under Apple’s keyboard replacement program, so rather than pay $1,300 to fix it, I ordered this keyboard. I chose a wired keyboard because I couldn’t even log in to my laptop to add a Bluetooth one. I chose Macally because I’m familiar with the brand and know its products really are compatible with Apple’s.This keyboard works great, it’s super slim and lightweight, and it fits inside my laptop bag. I really like that it’s a full keyboard with the numbers panel, too, as I’m not a fan of Apple’s abbreviated keyboards. Although a separate keyboard isn’t ideal with a laptop, I feel like this is a good compromise I can definitely live with until it’s time for a new MacBook.

Very good keyboard

I've purchased 5 of these for my offie and home use over the past 4 years, and while they work well, two of them have simply ceased to be able to connect to a computer after 2+ years and cannot be fixed. It's a good product, but i don't think a 40% failure rate (admittedly over a very small sample) is pretty lousy. I'll probably buy another one and just make sure to recycle the old ones and add to the ever growing computer waste-pile.
