Fraction of the price of arthritis injections
I have a 23 year old kitty, and his hips have been stiff for years. He recently started getting corticosteroid/VitB injections from a vet who makes housecalls, who originally came because my second, 18 year old kitty was reaching the end of her comfortable life. She had 3 housecalls (my older kitty got an arthritis shot each time) and then we had to put her to sleep. My older kitty responded to the arthritis shots amazingly, he now gets on and off the couch and can finish descending a flight of stairs without sitting and vocalizing halfway that it hurts. I can't afford to continue giving my kitty regular injections, but he has really responded so well, that this JointMAX on his food seems to maintain his comfort (So far, at least. I may just get him injections a few times a year, if at all). I've also been trying to increase his overall quality of life since he lost his "wife", and he has a ramp, new treats and a big fresh fountain. But I do believe the JointMAX is putting an extra spring in his step. The vet says he'll make it to age 27, easy. This is a fraction of the price of injections, and I tasted it. It's salty, but I doubt it ruins his meal, I put it on 1/2 can of moist food in the morning, and give him the rest of the can for dinner, after he has dry food available all day. He seems content and comfortable, and loves life more than ever. We're halfway through our first bottle, and I intend to order another. Once again, thank you Amazon for deals and fast shipping!

Waste of Money, No Help At All
First of all, it did not help my cat and I used it twice a day for over a month. Also it tastes disgusting and my cat would run and hide or fight me when I tried to give it by mouth. When mixed with wet food he would not touch it and starved himself for 2 days. The packaging was torn and the bottle was leaking when I received it. The dropper that is included also leaks and does not hold a dose, you will need another dropper. Had to transfer contents into a smaller bottle so a dropper could reach the liquid. Definitely do not recommend.

Easier than crushing up pills, cats LOVE it ... and it works GREAT
I've been using this product for about two years now ... love it!I have three old cats. TWO of them have had arthritis all their lives ... which I didn't realize until a few years ago when one cat had some x-rays done. BUT even as youngsters, the two sister cats always had "hot spots" on their hindquarters ... they would snap and bite at you if you touched them there. I never knew why until one of them had an x-ray and the vet pointed out that she had pretty bad arthritis in her hips.I started using dasuquin tables with my vet's advice, but crushing up tablets is difficult and the cats would eat around it if they could. So I switched to this product about two years ago. Now, at 15 years old, those hot sports are gone ... this is great stuff. You simply squirt this into their food. They like it (WOOHOO). When you FIRST treat your cat (or you) for arthritis, you use a DOUBLE dose for a week or two (instructions are on the lable, READ it). Then you can use a small amount each day and this bottle lasts me a LONG time for THREE cats ... so it is very cost-effective. I've been using this product for about two years now ... love it!Basically, these products are anti-inflammatory, so they also might be helpful for other aches and pains as your pet ages. My elderly cats are in GREAT health and I think Joint Max helps a lot.

My cat broke her hip
i purchased Joint MAX Liquid for Cats because my cat broke her hip. She has not been on it long but seems to be limping less. Her pain is not gone completely but she is not in as much pain and sleeping better. She don't mind the flavor. In all it's a good product. Overall ... Impressed.

So happy to have found this!
About 10 years ago I adopted a gloriously lovely 22lb cat from my local shelter. She was somewhere in the range of 3-6 years old at the time. Now her weight is down to a pretty steady 14.5-15 lb range and she's on R/D dry food for maintainence at the least, and more loss at the best. But she is an older girl who can run down a hallway like a bulldozer if she sees a treat near her dish, but has definite tightness and sensitively around her hind legs and cannot always get herself on the couch. The vet prescribed cosequin, but even my little vacuum wouldn't eat the dry pellets when just poured over her dry food. She needed two capsules and I used nearly a full can of squeezed liquid from a tuna can to try to dilute the pills but it still wasnt enough liquid. I love my girl, but I'm not emptying a can of tuna fish every night for her.Finding this liquid was just a god send! Now when our other cat is getting her own syringe followed by an anti-hairball treat, this girl gets a little under a tablespoon of the R/D dry food and 2.5oz poured over it. The food doesn't fully absorb the liquid but she still licks the dish clean once she's started. She gets this nightly or every other night at least. She's been taking it on this schedule for about 2 months now and she's visibly doing so much better. She's shown more energy in interacting with her housemate and can more often than not get herself up onto the couch in a single jump, without grabbing and pulling or needing me to lift her up.She also just got a clean bill of health from the vet so we're continuing the treatment as is. I've just been so so happy to find this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a cat on dry food only who needs but won't eat the cosequin on it.
