NICE SIMPLE RADIO THAT DOES WHAT IT SHOULD DO. NO PROBLEMS.
I bought it after reading a whole lot of reviews. It arrived fast and it is been playing for few days.So far no problems whatsoever. I am assuming those people who gave bad reviews for it not reaching some stations do not realize that the reception of the radio vary by the area. If you get a good signal for a given station for your area then this radio will definitely be able to pick it up. Not all signals are distributed evenly and they are not available in all areas. The greater urban density the more stations and the stronger signal and the more rural area further from the tower the weaker the signal so that is that. Not the radio problems.Radio is really lovely as it looks very vintage and this is the style I was looking for. It is good quality plastic and the finish is also nice quality, it does not look c heap. It is very light though. VERY light.Which is great if you are moving about with it or for elderly who have very weak hands to port it from one area of the house to another as it feather light. The operation is SUPER easy.Volume: the door on the top left as you face the radio, just turns easily to increase and decrease volumeTo Change stations - you just turn that big nice button on the face of the radio so the "station catcher" :) (my term) moves around the scale and as you do it goes through stations so you can stop wherever your heart pleases. It is nice as that is also easy to operate for elderly need be as there is no requirement of any fine motor skills here.It is great for young and older crowd as the style is really cool and works with a whole lot of eclectic interiors and also pure modern ones.

So cute
This little radio is so cute! And it cost me the same price as buying an adapter for another radio I had because I had lost the original one. It has a little turnstile knob for the volume and sound, and then you turn the dial in front to do the channels. 10 out of 10.

Battery saver
Worked ok with the plug, but not at all with the batteries, and yes they were in right, and yes they were brand new Duracell AA batteries..but it looks nice..

I LOVE IT Needed For Outages...Cutie Cute AND Has AM
I love my cute radio. This week after a lightning storm, Comcast service went out for 16 hours. No TV, no wifi, no internet. No Alexa...that was the worst. I had to flip a light switch. It was a time trip to 1950.Except I didn't have a radio.I have an ancient 1990 radio than needs 4 pounds of C batteries, that has bad reception, and a 25lb IONBlockrocker with a misplaced power cord. The primary user lost interest in it. Alexa and Amazon Music changed things. No, my tiny phone was not what I wanted. After everything went back on, I immediately ordered this cute-as-can-be AM/FM radio. It is light weight, it takes little batteries. It works. The knobs turn, the finish is glossy, it found the little lost local AM sports station. And did I say cute?It is fun to look at. You can imagine it is made of Bakelite. You won't want to stash it out of sight.AND it gets AM! Nothing has AM radio. I wanted AM for one thing.MLB games are on AM.Wow! Now I can listen to a game without sitting by a TV or rigging up the Bally app, on my tablet to take to the edge of wifi outside.Or as I once liked to do, watch on TV and listen on radio.Same for Chiefs games, which are on FM. Listen on radio, watch on TV. Cool.Wow!, when the next storm takes everything out, I can stay informed.Wow!, I don't have to try to listen live to boring local radio, struggling with the off brand app they try to use.Wow! Maybe the KC Royals will win a game someday.

Charming little radio
Bought this to take into work. I like listening to the radio while at work but that doesn't mean my entire office does, so I love that it has a headphone jack. The speaker sound quality isn't too bad either. I love that it's small so it doesn't take up too much of my desk, but it's still cute so it looks like decor. Looks exactly like the photos!I checked with another person in the building with a radio (a pretty fancy one at that), and they get about the same amount of channels as me, so I think the range is pretty typical for a radio. It has both auxillary and battery power. I keep it plugged in at my desk but I also like the idea of having a battery powered radio just in case of an emergency. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but it takes 4 AA so I imagine a good amount of timeAs far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect little radio. But there are a few cons:-I didn't need/want anything with Bluetooth but if you do, this wouldn't be the radio for you.-it is a thinner plastic. Not super rugged. Doesn't feel super high quality when holding it-the dial is a physical dial, so you'll have to rotate it to get to your channels. I just marked the channels I listen to with a felt pen and called it a day, but if you're hunting for certain numbers, it could be a pain.-the headphones are a little quiet, I find myself turning the volume up to 75(ish)% when I want to listen to a song (as opposed to background noise)-its a very small radio, so it can only be so loud. Great for a house or office, but not necessarily the best for larger/louder venues
