I don't have not one negative thing to say about the GEX Multifunction Tripod! I LOVE IT! I am totally satisfied with my purchase. This tripod is very sturdy, very flexible, very lightweight and very easy to adjust. The carrying case is well constructed and not a piece of junk, and the tripod fits very neatly within the case. I use it for making wigs, but I can also use it with my camera, tablet and smart phone. I love GEX products, because they are of HIGH QUALITY. I also appreciate how they neatly pack their products. My tripod arrived early, which is also a very BIG plus for me. I plan to purchase more of them in the future, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tripod to others, especially wig makers and wig stylists. I am so shocked at the height of this tripod! I am very happy about! It has been very hard for me to find a wig stand (multipurpose tripod; LUCKY ME!) where I can stand up or sit down to make my wigs and I have found one and absolutely LOVE it. It is so sturdy and very easy to maneuver. The Wig head is the same brand and fits absolutely perfect with it (I have it adjusted to the side as you can see). It will also stay in the same spot that you place it once it’s tighten. I am 5’3 and it’s a little shorter than me! I do hope you all purchase and fall in love with it just as I did!

The stand is well made and consistent with the quality of the other Gex branded products... my only confusion is not being able to attach my Nikon. My attraction to the model was the fact that it could serve as a camera tripod stand but unfortunately I wasn’t able to attach my Nikon D5500 which is a bit disappointing because I want to be able to shoot content, maybe it will fit other models. Overall it’s a great stand and I guess I inherited another wig stand which is a plus... also for comparison purposes I included their other model which starting retail price is $50

Wish it was a little heavier, I have the GEX heavy duty tripod as well which is very sturdy but for some reason the knob that controls the movement of the stick that the mannequin head sits on WILL NOT move and I can’t seem to un-tighten it so I bought the lighter version but the tripod moves too much as I try and use it to make wigs. So I’m stuck using the heavy duty one but I can’t move the head around. This tripod is good to transport and to use for when I put the mannequin on it for pictures

This is okay. The two biggest issue I have with this is that the legs are not sturdy and the slightest pressure moves the head in all sorts of directions. When I am working on it, the legs will sink in on one side and the mannequin head will tilt to the front with the slightest pressure. It’s not that great and I wouldn’t recommend it. I work with it but am highly disappointed and would tell anyone to look elsewhere for a different stand. I have several stands for recording and other things, so I am not a novice when it comes to stands. A stand leg should not buckle with the slightest pressure.

If you're looking for a sturdy, stable and affordable tripod stand, it doesn't get better than this. I had 4 previously but the moment I saw it in black I just had to have it. I use them for my wig making usually, but I've also recently started using them as camera stands. Works extremely well for that too. I want to try using this for my ring light next because the stand it came with is trash. I will definitely purchase more of these tripods.

This Tripod is great. I primarily use it for my wigs and wig content and it is very study and also very compact . I also use It for my ring light when I take pictures for my socials. It is very easy to use and store.
