I was having issues with my 8 year old appaloosa gelding I just got dealing with bacteria in his foot and he would not stand for a rubber pan/bucket. This boot stayed on for 30+ minutes even though he was moving around a bunch. Best $16 ever. Totally worth it!! I used it without the foam insert.

Flexible, easy to manage, has a hard foam pad that my horse enjoyed standing on. It seems it would work well for soaking sore hoof. I was just using for white line clean Trax solution. The flexibility of material makes it easy to use, also makes it droop, but the extra velcro-ed strap solves that. I don't know if the flexibility of the material will make it less durable over time. Great value.

No one wants to deal with an abscess but if you own a horse, it's bound to happen at some point. I bought this to try vs a bucket and boy am I sold . Not only is it easy to apply over the foot, but the material is really durable and it attaches well to the leg. I'll always keep one of these on hand in case I ever need to soak hooves again.

This soaking boot has been great! 10/10 would recommend. My horse stepped on a nail and ended up with an abscess. I’ve been using this boot consistently every single day for the last month and for at least 30 minutes per soak. I have to pull it back up his leg every once in a while due to him stomping the bugs (it slides down a little). I’m very impressed with the durability of this bag, and how well it has held up with daily use.

Great, tough waterproof boot for soaking! Nice and tall for my horse that stomps when soaking. Material the same as for waterproof bags for canoeing, rafting, kayaking. BUT the hook & loop cinch ties do not work well when wet--not a good thing for something that spends most of its functional time being Wet. Same for the small plastic cam strap at the top--the teeth slide when wet. I must constantly attend to the cinches to keep them wrapped, otherwise they pop free. I'll make my own cinches out of quality Velcro and keep the bag!

This is in my medical kit at the barn. I have not had to use it yet, but I like knowing it's on hand. I read lots of reviews about different products and settled on this one. When you need a soaking boot, you need it NOW, whether it's for an abscess, cannon bone bump, or ? I didn't want to get stuck rummaging through a trash can for a grocery store bag to soak my gelding's leg, so this will be my go-to if I need it. Also in my medical kit at the barn: allergy pills, bute, stethoscope, thermometer, premie diaper to pad a hoof abscess, duct tape to secure the premie diaper, and several different potions and creams and lotions.
