I've always loved Black and Decker products, and this one doesn't disappoint. It has great suction. It's held up well over the last year that I've had it. I like all the different attachments.

Perfect! It’s kinda loud but it gets the job done like I thought it would!

Good power, but this model doesn’t have the wiggling tip on the nozzle, which provides more turbulent air which helps to dislodge stuck-on leaves. The last 2 B&D blower/vacs that I’ve used had this feature which decreases fatigue. I like that the vac bag is positioned horizontally rather than vertically like the Toro I had before this one- that bag actually dragged on the ground. The vac tube is shorter, so it’s much more comfortable to hold. (The Toro vac attachment was so long, the motor was chest height to me.) Also, it’s much lighter weight than the Toro. One major negative with this B&D blower is the motor is very loud with a high pitch sound. I strongly recommend good hearing protection. Overall, I prefer this one over the Toro.

I bought this leaf blower and after using it twice, it just simply stopped turning on. I called the manufacturer because it was still under warranty and they sent me a new one. And once again, the same thing happened I used it one time and it just stopped turning on. I don’t know what exactly is going on, but I would not advise buying this product because it doesn’t seem to be reliable. I have had it hanging on my rafter in the garage when I’m not using it. But I googled if it would cause a defect and they said if it’s not a gas powered Black and Deihr then you shouldn’t have a problem because it’s electric.

Some people complained it’s too noisy or it got too heavy. Well they were just a bunch of people looking for a reason to complain. Yes it can be noisy. But nothing a decent pair of headphones couldn’t block out. It can get heavy after long periods of use, but so can all blowers. One person even complained that it gets dirty. Well duh you’re working outside in the dirt and leaves of course it’s gonna get dirty.So now for my review. The blower was flawless once I took the tip off the blower and then it would just move the leaves across my yard so much faster and easier with the small tip off of it. Once piled up into a large bundle of leaves I really got impressed when I decided to not use the bagger and just let it suck up the leaves and mulch the leaves. Saved me from having to fill the bag, empty the bag and repeat that process over and over. This way I could continue working without stopping and just let it eat the leaves and spit them out into small pieces. If I had to recommend this to anyone. You bet your a** I would recommend this to anyone. Well worth every penny I spend and out performed my gas blower that blew up. Don’t listen to all the cry babies saying it’s to heavy, or to loud, or gets dirty easy. Those are minor problems that I would consider to be personal problems. Hope this review helps everyone considering this black and decker leaf blower/ leaf vacuum bagger.

I like this mulcher pretty well. It is heavy, but the suction works well and it mulches finely. In terms of function, there are a few main issues. If it is your only mulcher, you will be limited in what you can mulch to exclusively leaves. It also generates a lot of dust if you are using the vacuum function over an area with loose dirt — definitely wear a mask. If you’re mulching a lot, you may get leaves stuck many times. I’m in the PNW, so at about the time leaves start falling, it also starts raining, and I doubt it is going to function well with wet leaves. Also, you need a large rigid trash can if you want to mulch into a vessel instead of the small bag it comes with.I would say this product performs just as intended, but the scope of its capabilities don’t quite line up with my needs.
