personally, this works for me. though it's small, it does the job! just gotta tear the paper you're shredding once or twice and it's good to go in the shredder. i love it because it doesn't take up much space and also makes it easy to discard a bunch of old documents etc.

A ver6 nice hand crank paper shredder. Like most hand shredders just make sure you don't put anything too thick or you could break the device and or the contents simply won't shred properly and you'll just have some dented lines in the papers. Made from a sturdy plastic and overall good function. The lid doesn't lock on though which is a little annoying but not enough to affect my rating.

Bought for my nephew. He is autistic and likes shredding paper. He stims with the shreds which is easier to clean up than sand or slime when it gets on the floor. It is small so full size paper needs to be torn/cut first to fit. The handle doesn't stay in, but that actually makes it easier to take it from house to house. He just puts the handle in the bin, then into his go bag. No worrying about it breaking off and being unable to use it. Works fine on coloring pages completely covered in crayon ( both sides ). The crayon wax hasn't effected the operation at all. He has used it almost daily since getting it with only a few paper jams and he can fix it himself as there is no motor to worry about. Just turn the handle backwards a bit to pull the jam free. The paper shreds can be used in alot of craft projects or as gift bag filler as well. It has been a few months now and it still works well.

Eh, it’s ok. It’s isn’t a great shredder. It kind of shreds and crimps paper at the same time. You can only shred 1-2 small pieces of paper at a time.I was tired of my electric shredders always breaking, so I decided to try a manual one like this.I usually don’t have much to shred, and it’s a little better than using scissors because it shreds or crimps it enough that I can just pull the paper apart or rip it afterwards. I feel like this shredder needs sharper blades to work great. It definitely needs work, but it’s ok to use.

I definitely prefer this to my old, bulky, loud, messy, plug in shredder.Pros: Works well for small amounts of paper. Smaller than my toaster so can be stored anywhere. Very quiet. Easy to use. No electricity required. Minimal shredder dust.Cons: Not a fast process (have to rip each 8.5x11 sheet into quarters and feed through 1 quarter at a time or struggle with crank trying to do 2 layers at once). How handy is this! I have a small work area and this is perfect. I have a bigger shredder for big jobs, but this works fine for just shredding a few things at a time. The handle does like to fall off if tipped over, but its not a big deal to stick back on. It also stores easy inside my computer desk. For the price its great.

The handle don't stay on and the blades did not turn. So sad cause I needed this. 2 stars for the product its self, its function os horrible, at least the one i got was. Also I give the generic brand peanut butter makers 0 stars cause it says you get 10% off of the 39.99 price but they make sure you pay that 10 % off by charging that same 10% in shipping. Be ware of the twists in the final price of anything you buy.
