Amazing
They worked ammmaaazing for my boyfriend and I while hiking in Rocky Mountain state park up to sky pond. Easy on and off removal and placement. A lot of people were slipping and falling and with these and our trekking poles we were good to go ! I cannot recommend enough especially since these can also go through TSA and you don’t have to worry about checking a bag for them.

Columbia Ice Field in Canada.
Went to Columbia Ice Field in Canada and wore them. Good for basic needs. Simple to get on and easier to get off. Take your boot off to put them on a slide to get them off. If I was doing serious climbing though, would have bought something with bigger grips. But for snow field on glacier it was fine.

Safe walking in snow/ice
Excellent traction. I no longer fear falling. Have given to several family and friends. Only negative is they are hard to get on but worth the small struggle.

Be safe on ice and hard packed snow . YakTrak are fantastic
YAK TRAX have always been great for icy conditions like we’ve had this winter. I got these at a discounted price so they were a great deal. Gave them to a friend .I also have the Pro version with the strap and absolutely love them. The strap keeps them more secure so they don’t slide off at all. I put mine on a pair of Muck boots and plan to leave them on for quick trips outside .Just know that these YakTrax CANNOT be worn on smooth indoor surfaces. You can’t go inside a grocery store for instance unless you remove them or carry an extra pair of boots to swap.Still, they have made me safe from falling on the ice we’ve had this winter. Highly recommended

super reliable
Super reliable You can count on your overly priced yaktrak to arrive in a box.you can also can count on it to go on your shoe assuming you ordered the right size. But it gets even better. You can count on your yaktrak to fall apart in roughly 2 weeks time. If you have to depend on these be sure to factor about $50.00 per month into your budget for replacement yaktraks per person. Make sure you keep an ample supply on hand because you can count on these falling apart at the most inopportune time while Murphy's law is in effect in other words - always. Folks don't buy this garbage. Shop around a little. You'll easily find a better product. In fact you would be better off going to your local Dollar store, getting yourself some heavy duty rubber bands and paper clips, sit down at your kitchen table and in no time at all you will make a much better quality set of cleats that are at least made in the U.S.A. Lastly WHAT A RIPOFF! Probably cost around $3.00 to manufacture (including packaging) and sold to you with an 800% markup. Buyer be more than aware save yourself the insult and the fall on the ice that's part of the guaranteed you get with your expensive yaktraks . Now that you're an educated consumer hopefully you are smarter than me and will never waste your hard earned dollars on garbage like yaktraks.

You never know when you need them
Hard to believe the difference these make on iced surfaces. I keep a set in my glove box.

Worked great, but broke quickly
I absolutely loved these to start. They fit my shoes perfectly and definitely gave you a sense of security walking on snow and ice. Unfortunately, one of the coils broke on my third walk. I had less than 5 miles on them at that point.I'm hoping the manufacturer will reach out and send me another set. Grip, stability, and peace of mind on ice are all on point but the durability wasn't there on this set. Otherwise it would 100% be five stars!UPDATE: The company (not Amazon replaced these and they broke again. Working with them now to either replace or get another option. I walk in my neighborhood, so it's both snow and ice, and some cleared pavement. I am certain the pavement is what is causing the coils to snap, but this can't be helped. It's always going to be a hybrid walking situation here unless it's just snowed.
