RapalaRRRUL60 60" Retractable Ruler, One Size, Multi

I'm pretty happy with this gadget! I've really never seen anything like this before. It's ridiculously easy to use and especially easy to read. The numbers are giant! The tape itself is a rubber or blend of rubber and plastics and is incredibly durable and thick.. The retractable spring for the tape is incredibly strong and retracts the tape at lightning speed, so watch your fingers!I highly recommend this fish measuring tape for saltwater use or fresh water use. It's worth the price tag. Easy 5 stars from me as a 30 year saltwater Guide.

Always wanted a nice, easy to use, tape for measuring fish in the boat and this thing fills the bill. Big Numbers, stays flat on my boat, and rolls up nicely and stows in the glove box. I've had a few other models, but this is definitely my favorite, I'd highly reccomend!

Great sturdy design perfect length for Almost all North east fish.

Large numbers, flip up nose stop, easily cleanable, compact size. For saltwater fishing especially on kayak, surf, or pier, you won’t have room for a long solid fish bump board. This works great, just be sure and rinse it to keep to rewind mechanism clean.

⁃ I purchased this item due to the large numbers printed on the ruler and the ruler’s non-reflective surface.⁃ I sell things online and a lot of prospective customers have always asked me to send them a digital photograph of the item with a ruler/measuring device side by side, or asked me for the measurements themselves. If the item is very long or wide, even if you use a normal measuring tape, the numbers don’t show on the photographs where the smaller measuring tape has been used and are illegible, defeating the purpose of using the measuring tape to show the length of the item/items.⁃ With this retractable ruler, the numbers show up clearly and since I take the photos in a room with light, there is no reflection on the photographs.⁃ When using the ruler, when pulled gently, the ruler opens up and there are clicks on the ruler to get it to stay at the last position/length you have pulled/placed it in.⁃ Retracting the ruler after use is easy; there is a button on one of the sides which when pressed, retracts the ruler back to its ‘original/initial’ position, zero measurements. It’s spring-loaded, so do it slowly.⁃ I compared it to a ‘regular’ Sure Bilt 25 ft measuring tape and the measurements are similar which is a good sign as the Sure Bilt is an accurate measuring tape.⁃ It has a belt loop looking holder at the beginning which allows you to hang the ruler vertically on a nail/screw/bolt or lay it out horizontally while clasped onto a nail/screw/bolt.⁃ Since this is my go-to measuring tape from now on for online sales’ photographs, I’ll be using it a lot. I will update this review in case the ruler stops working for no reason/prematurely.

Works perfectly

This is a must have if you are trying to measure fish. It's compact and stays organized. The retractable tape is very strong and snaps back nicely each use. You can rinse it and clean it so it will last a long time. The numbers are easy to read and I'm a huge fan of the plastic stop at the end of the tape to make measuring your fish super easy.
