This case absolutely does not fit the 2018 fire HD 8 tablet!!! It's way too small. I'm so annoyed because I made sure to triple check it would fit my tablet. Don't buy!

We haven't gotten to use it yet as it's part of her Christmas gift but I did look/feel it & it seems to be of good quality, not that cheesy rubber that all kinds of things stick to, that's what I was worried about getting but it's not like that. My 5 year old daughter is rough on things so after she has had time to use it I will come back with an update but if I have to guess I'd say it will last. She loves cats as well & will love that it has that shape. I got it bc the handle on it would save me from having to buy a separate case bc I know she won't use it so this will keep it safe & gives her a handle to carry it all in one.

This thing looked like hard plastic from the pictures when I bought it. However, it's more of a flexible foam which is really nice and protects it well from drops. Love the kickstands, they're very sturdy. The Kindle Fire HD 8 (2018, 8th generation) fits perfectly inside this. Not too hard to get it in/out, but there's no way this thing would fall out on its own. Plenty of space up top for plugging in stuff and using the buttons. Perfect for kid-proofing your tablet.

So difficult to remove tablet or put inside. Just awful, product. Found that inside the case tablet would not work properly, had to remove from the case. Access to buttons difficult when in the case. Yes very durable, but frustrating to get to buttons, or area to charge. The design of this tablet case while sturdy is poor for use. Have an iPad tablet case that is just as durable and has a slide-in slit to put

I just received it today, so I will update on longevity. I ordered the purple for my 4 yo who didnt have a cover for her HD Fire 8 (2017) tablet with a stand. Item arrived simply in a ziploc bag with a label, no instructions or other information. I really liked the color. It came with a black insert that needed to be removed before fitting a tablet inside. Fit was snug which insured security for me. Stand is easy for my daughter to open on her own. She likes the points and call it's her "cat case." Only complaint is that it appears to muffle the volume , even though there are holes near the speaker. With the tablet turned all the way up, it sounded like the volume was only half way-this may be a good thing to some. Hopeful that its durable but it has a 1 year warranty, so it's worth it

It's lightweight, easy on the hands, protects my tablet, and the rose is dark pink!! Just take out the black tray thing, and pop your tablet in!The handle is great. The kickstands in the back actually do make my tablet stand way better than my adult cover with the stand.Stop adulting! Get one of these, and you'll never go back. Adulting kinda sucks anyway!

This is perfect for my 2 year old toddler, I purchased the purple one. She is able to carry it around more securely when walking and she is able to lay down or sit down with it and not have to hold it all the time to watch utube or to play games. She loves it!!!

I bought two of these for my two little girls for their tablets for protection. They are easy to use and to put on. You still have access to all plugs and camera. My two girls are 5 and 9 years old and they loved them also. They have already dropped them and I seen how they absorb the shock and it bounced off the floor, protecting it completely!! I love them, I also purchased some screen protectors for it so that it is very protected now.
