I've always been a bit skeptical of these wireless doorbells as they always seem to fail after a period of time. Anyway I needed one for my office and the run for a "hard wire" was just too far / awkward. The button is outside on the ground floor and my office is on the 1st floor and as its an old Victorian building I wondered how it would be as the walls are very thick. Fitting was easy the Bell / Receiver just plugs into the wall socket - so no fiddling about screwing it into the wall / installing batteries. The press button too I just screwed to the door frame outside in a couple of minutes - so an easy installation. You are able to turn the volume right down to zero if you like and just see the light come on when the bell is pushed. I have mine set to low volume which is easy enough to hear without being too loud. That said, if you want it loud - it's loud ! Finally you can choose which type of chime if you wish. I just went for the traditional ding - dong. Overall to date very happy. Hope it stands the test of time. There's a small battery in the press button which I guess you'll have to change from time to time depending on use, but I don't see that as a problem. Delivery too was prompt which was good as so many times you order stuff on Amazon and it can take an Eon to arrive.

Bell is excellent but, initially, getting connectivity between bell-push and transmitters over two days became annoying.Transmitters were simple to initiate, but bell-push a puzzle as it didn't light up or connect to transmitters. Rapid replies from customer service was excellent, but it did highlight the instruction leaflet somewhat ambiguous in its caution..... 'do not open PCB or repair it.......' so I didn't feel confident to inspect inside the 'unworkable' bell-push. It transpired that the removal of the obligatory transparency between battery and connectivity (an obvious predictable), was all that was required to get all-round connection, on of the transmitters of which works very well in one of the rooms further into the house. A nice looking door-chime set. Very pleased with my purchase. Recommended.

This is a simple product to install however the fixing instructions need some care. The push button component comes with a small screwdriver to remove the housing. This is provided to get into the casing to secure the unit to the external brick work with the screws provided. The instructions state to twist the screwdriver to separate the casing. In actual fact the screwdriver should be simply inserted carefully to push back the lug so that the casing pulls apart. Unfortunately over pressure (which does not take much) results in the lug breaking off. The casing still clipped together with one of the lugs missing.It is unfortunate that the casing was not designed to slide apart which would have removed this problem altogether. The package includes a double sided sticky pad. I found it useful to mount this on the back of the push button unit as it provides a stabilizing cushion to screw against the uneven brickwork.Dispite the fixing issues- I like the product overall and it is good quality hence the 5 stars.

Reasonably priced wireless doorbell with 58 melodies which I found a little excessive and annoying when having to go through to find one which was acceptable, opting in the end for the standard ‘ding dong’. The dual control button for the melodies and volume can be awkward to use as it is fairly small so you have to be carefull to press the upper or lower part of the button to ensure the correct selection which can only be done with the unit plugged into an electrical socket, however, once realised, it is not a problem and the volume level is good. The units themselves are well made and reasonably small, much better than my previous units and come already paired which you just have to initiate. My one main criticism is that the instructions don’t mention that you need to open the transmitter battery compartment to pull the paper tab to start the battery which is included working. Often, these tabs hang out of the unit making it obvious but in this instance, I nearly returned the unit as I initially could not get the system to work which is why I only gave my review 4 stars, the supplier however should get 5 stars as their delivery was on time and they followed through with emails giving relevant information.Overall a very good product for which I’m happy to give my recommendation.

This is a nice looking product but not reliable. The touch button is not sensitive if caller has very dry fingers or wearing gloves. WE have missed many callers who were unable to make the receivers work.Also inconvenient plugging into mains sockets in suitable places in the house. They take up sockets that may be needed and it is not always easy to relocate other devices using the sockets.This would be better with a button that has a tactile switch and the possibility to power the sounders by battery.

Easy to set up and worked for around 12 months - thought it was the battery in the door bell bit - changed it but it still doesnt work.

I wanted a quick way to contact my husband when he's up his 'man cave' and having a door bell put up in his shed seemed to be the easiest fix. I have tried a few wireless door bells before, that haven't worked that well or for very long. Although only recently bought, it does an excellent job; easy to fix, easy to set up and a great price. I can't believe how many ring tones you can choose from! I would recommend this item without hesitation.

Can't recommend this enough. The volume is very loud but extremely easy to tune up or down. Very easy to install too.Also, I set it up about 10 meters away and 5 meters down. Definitely worth it !
