This is fairly simple. Install the drivers on your computer. Use this cable to plug in your Kinect and run the s/w.

I bought this to use with my xbox one S. I was using it to Skype family and it didn't work. I thought something was wrong with Skype but when I go to setting my xbox won't even recognize that a kinect is plugged into it. This was a waste of time and money.
