Metal Half Rimmed Reading Glasses-Extra Clear Vision

The glasses were solid, and stylish. More than most low cost readers. However, as with several other reviews here they came with micro scratches on the lenses. Unfortunately, right in the line of sight which made them unusable. They way they are packed, the lenses seem to push up against the plastic box cover and over time, I think this is what causes the scratches. If you look closely, the scratches are small 'lines' going in the same direction like they moved back and forth against something. Since several other buyers have complained about this same issue, it would seem to me that the manufacturer should resolve the problem with a thin removable plastic cover over the lenses. Most glasses I have purchased have had some type of lens cover to remove for protection. This SMALL addition will save the many returns and poor ratings.

Good and bad... I love the look of the glasses and they are very comfortable. The price is good as well.I wear them constantly, but after a few months, the colored plating on the frames started coming off. This issue may have been fixed because this is my second set of them, so I will wait and see.When they are new, they are hard to open and close. This gets better after a few weeks.I had to replace my old ones because the little plastic nose pieces fell off. There are tiny screws to hold them in place, so I will keep an eye on that this time.

For the price, this would have been a 5-star purchase value. However, they were full of stubborn tacky fingerprints --- which I was able to clean off with some effort using the micro-sized microfiber cloth that was included. Once past the fingerprints, the lenses revealed areas that were scuffed enough to obscure vision, though one of the three had its scuff marks far enough off center so that it does not matter much. I did not bother to return them since I would have done as much damage myself in time. I would never sit down to read a book with them. I'll put them in places where I will not use them very often. But it's like buying a new car with 10 years worth of door dings on day one.

These are perfect. I have a pretty expensive pair of prescription glasses that I am scared stiff will get left at some restaurant or crushed. These were the perfect price and the quality and fit exceeded my expectations. I have only used one pair so far, but they all look good. These will be great for throwing in my cargo shorts pocket when I make trips to the store or stop out to a restaurant. I will probably put one pair in my car and leave another pair by the bed for night time reading.

Unfortunately, not all of the listed information regarding the lens is correct. It calls out 50mm for the height. Its actually only 36mm. Normally I need a larger lens height between 44mm & 48mm. So, this sounded perfect when I ordered them. If they were a full frame the bottom section of the frame would have been a problem. Since they are rimless I'm able to make them work for me. For the minimal amount of money invested and they do work well enough I'm keeping them anyway. They do seem durable & are definitely lightweight.

Glasses were great in design look fit and feel / comfort, but they came scratched in shipping beyond the point of use for all but one pair. For the price I paid they would be a 5 star rating, but for the fact I could only use only one pair and that pair was still scratched slightly less. If they were shipped in a way to better protect the lenses these would have been great!

These are nice glasses I have ordered them several times, I would have given 5 Stars except every pair of glasses that I have received and I have ordered a total of 12 have come with a scratch on the left lens in the exact same spot. I don't know if it is a packaging problem or what but it is kind of irritating to say the least. They do the job but are scratched every time.

Disappointed as glasses came with small scratches due to packaging. I hope the vendor can add some plastic covering to the lenses so they do not come scratched. Otherwise - GREAT glasses. Well constructed and looks good on either men or women. I have multiple pairs around the house - and was hoping to add these to my collection - but the scratches are too large to overlook.
