Great case for old Megadrive fans!
I love the look of all the Retrocases you can get for the RaspberryPi 3B+. I was torn between this MegaPi case & the NESPi case. But was always slightly more back in the day a Megadrive fan. So this won out.I would say this is a slightly more snug design for the Raspberry Pi than the NESPi case. But as long as you are patient & leave out your Micro SD card. It all fits fine.I have had no cooling issues with this so far. Been running hottest so far 65 deg C. There is a spot built in the case to allow for a small fan, brought separately. But I am using the GeeekPi Duel Cooling fan, which meant slightly modifing the case by removing a couple of the clips built in to the case to hold a fan, so there was room to shut the case properly. & the extended power supply point will route out the way as well. This is no fault of the case, & my choice to make the GeekPi Fan fit. Which it does & I've powered it off the supplied point on the cases motherboard. All now working great.Make sure before sealing up the case you put both the outer on/off switch & circuit board switch to off. So they line up correctly. Also you need to set the safe shut off switch to on, before closing up the case if you intend to use the built in power switch. (Having added the appropriate commands, shown in the instructions). Also to allow for USB leads out the back & or Internet Wired connection remove (slide out) the small piece of plastic in one half of the case before shuting it up, as you can't get it out afterwards.Overall a great case that looks & feels good. & has made showing my Son some of my old games on Retropie really fun.

Brilliant case but be very careful installing it!
This case is just excellent, the board is mounted upside down and is quite confined as other reviewers have mentioned.I have heatsinks on my 3B+ and it fits very snugly with those on.The case itself is very cute and looks just like an original model one megadrive.Everything is well thought out, and the lid even opens (via the mini volume control which is just a spring release catch) so you can store your SD cards in there. Now for the part where I admit being an idiot.. I left my 128gb card in the raspberry pi while installing into the case and when I pressed it together I snapped the SD card!So that was my lovely custom 128gb retropie image completely gone forever :(Still this isn't the fault of the case just remember to remove the card before installation. All in all a brilliant case, you really can't go wrong (if you install your board carefully) and it looks great.

Great case
Brilliant case. Easy to assemble. I bought a small 5v fan to go into the case but it was far too loud when given 5v of power from the pins included in the caseâs circuitry, so had to connect it to 3v pins on the Piâs own board.

CAREFUL!
Love this case, but I snapped one of my 128Gb sd cards because I didn't think to remove it from the Pi before fitting this case!Once put together though this is an awesome case. I connect my RetroPi via WiFi but I did notice that while you can easily plug an ethernet cable in through the hatch, you have no chance of removing it without taking the case apart again because you wont be able to get to the little plastic tab that you need to push to release network cables.

Such a cool way to store a Pi
Really good, the Pi sits upside down in this case and there's room for a cooling fan (but it doesn't come with it). The built in circuitboard allows you to wire up a GPIO shutdown and reset feature, and the script is on the instructions paper.Came with the screws and screwdriver to assemble, the 'volume slider' on this case actually functions to make the circular part pop open like a PSOne lid, allowing you to save SD cards in there if you want to.Would recommend for those people who are, like me, too impatient to wait for a way of hacking the MegaDrive Mini and want to make a SEGA Pi instead.

Great ornament
This case has a beautiful design and looks really nice, just like a real mega drive. However I am not able to use it as intended. Like has happened to others, I snapped my SD card.Once I put everything together and powered it on, nothing happened. When I take the case off, the power works OK. The power doesn't work with the top of the case on (even after checking the switch lines up etc). So I give up trying to use it to actually use it as intended and will keep it as a cool ornament only.
