My old boy is a busy beaver. Nice to find parts for it.A little tip for those doing this for the first time. Grease everything. Trying to install the bushing in a crusty old leaf spring can be a pain.

The kit comes in 3 small bags with 4 rubber bushings and 2 steel sleeves in each. You will not need 2 of the sleeves as the forward 2 shoulder bolts are designed to fit directly inside the rubber bushings. The other 4 sleeves fit inside the bushings for the shackles. A couple tips I can give anyone doing this replacement is first take some pictures before you disassemble everything. You'll want to note the orientation of the brake cables on each side. The leaf spring will need to be installed over the cable in most cases. Second, take all the tension off the spring by removing the 8 nuts that hold the 2 U-clamps to the axle on each side. By removing the entire leaf spring assemblies you'll be surprised at how easy everything come apart and bolts back together with no tension on the springs. Also, once you've begun reassembly, don't tighten the shackle or forward end bolts until you have the U-bolts tightened just enough to seat the round tab in the top face of the spring into the hole in the bottom of the spring seat bracket. Once that is lined up you're good to go to snug all the other nuts up and start driving rattle free! I work on quite a few different types of carts weekly and I will definitely purchase this kit again. I just installed this kit on a 2005 TXT and everything fit perfectly.

I just bought a 2002 Ezgo txt that is in overall good shape. But for some strange reason the guy i bought it from didn’t think it needed ANY bushings in the rear end. The cart screeched and barked at every little bump and rode stiff as you can imagine. This bushing kit took less than an hour to install (all 6 bushings). The front ones are a little tight but not that bad. Rear ones are easy. Do the rear pair last.

Made the golf cart ride better

My cart is an EZGO sport ST 2006. The bushings on the rear leafs were completely gone. I went with this set for a little more $ because it was an American company and there were 6 bushings instead of just 4. This worked perfect and killed the jarring ride. Thank you Husky. Tip: do the front bolts first while there is all the slack at the back. This will allow for easy alignment of the bolt. Then the rear are easy since it is one bolt over another connected by the 2 hanging straps. Tools: bottle jack in the middle of the rear. Blocks for front wheels. Open end wrench and socket wrench. Large screwdriver or small crowbar to help with the front bolt alignment if needed. I also used one of my small Quick Grip clamps to help squeeze the bushings and sleeve together inside the leaf spring. Also used some bearing grease to help rubber bushings go into place.

Great product. Buy with confidence. I have an 2002 Ezgo and everything was quality, fit and easy to install. My ride is much improved now that I have new bushings.
